Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
Great little pancake recipe. I was out of baking soda so I just upped the baking powder by 2 times and it was great. I even threw in a splash of Vanilla to the mix and it made a nice smooth flavour.

Habanero Pepper Jelly

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
This stuff is awesome. It turned out great and it is the first time I have ever made a jelly. It kicks you right in the taste buds for sure and is definitely addictive. Great with cream cheese and crackers.

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
Delicious recipe. I made the dressing the night before in Mason jar and left it in the fridge for the flavours to meld. I then added another dollop if mayo before I dressed the cabbage mix. Again, very delicious mix of sweet/sour and creamy, but not a sickly creamy. Just right.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
This was an awesome salad. I was really surprised how good the dressing was, an excellent combination of flavours. Try throwing in some cubed cold chicken or turkey breast, yummy.

Spring Vegetable Bundles

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
No question they were good, but too much work. Myabe it was because I made so many for a crowd at Easter dinner, next time I think I would save it for a smaller scale.

Butternut Squash Soup with Spinach Ravioli

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This was a really good soup and well received by my family. I didn't think it needed the ravioli, but if you were looking at it as a meal then definitely add the pasta.

Never Fail Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
Two words: D-licious. This is an awesome Choc chip cookie recipe. They rise up beautifully and stay that way even after removing them from the oven. Instead of butter(because I didn't have any on hand) I used no salt margarine.

Creamy Carrot With Curry Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
Need something to warm the soul and tantalize your taste buds? Then you've found it in this soup. I made this soup as an appetizer to Thanksgiving dinner this year(which my family has never done before, "an appetizer for Thanksgiving"? I was asked, and everyone from the kids to the grandparents loved it. The subtle not overpowering use of curry is nice and the chopped pistachios give it that elegant touch.
