White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2015
I tried this for the first time last week, took the leftovers to work, and it was gone within an hour!! I made this recipe to exact specifications and it turned out perfect (perfect consistency). I did not strain the raspberry seeds as I had nothing available, but it was still great and no one complained. I will make again, but with more white chocolate chips to bring out the flavor a little more and try to get a strainer. I feel putting seedless raspberry jam like some viewers, instead of real raspberries just takes away the fresh flavor of the raspberries and is not an option for me, the seeds did not hinder anything.

Midwest Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2015
I make this recipe without any changes and it is fabulous. A must have for my husband and I. It does take some time so I make it on the weekend usually with some mashed potatoes. Thank you!

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2014
This will be a definite once a month recipe in my household! I use med hot Italian sausage from my butcher shop, low sodium beef broth and no additional salt. My husband and I ate the leftovers the next day and are ready for another batch. Thank you for this new household favorite.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2014
Fantastic recipe! I did what others suggested and used 1/2 shortening 1/2 real butter (no margarine in this house!) and 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar. So soft and chewy. Next time I will use different flavored chips, maybe mint chips for the holidays. Thank you for the recipe.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
This recipe is great. I did make some modifications as others suggested. I steamed the broccoli, added 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup onion, additional 1/2 cup shredded cheese, and garlic powder. I had a can of Tyson chicken and used that so I didn't have to cook the chicken (frozen anyway). I mixed all the ingredients together and put in a 8x8 glass pan. I had some Ritz crackers and used that for the topping with the butter mixed with it. It is fantastic and I will make again.

Easy Stovetop Chicken Teriyaki in Orange Ginger Garlic Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
I did find this recipe a little watery at the end, but just added corn starch and it thickened right up. This is a fantastic easy dish to make, very flavorful and much healthier than take out Chinese food. I have this as part of my dinner schedule now. I do add water chestnuts, broccoli, and baby corn to it to add some vegetables, its delish!

Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
Great recipe! Finally a frosting recipe I can use over and over with my sugar cookies! I did use almond extract since I didn't have vanilla at the time. It turned out great and my hubby isn't the almond flavor type, he said it tasted like a "hint" of almond, and wasn't overpowering, he loved it.

No Roll Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
I have been looking for something easy as a basic sugar cookie. This was finally the recipe I have been looking for. I didn't have to roll out and cut it, which never works out well for me. These were better the next day, and I used a butter frosting recipe with this and it was the perfect sugar cookie. I will make these again and again for holidays. I didn't even have to press down sugar on top before cooking since I made a homemade frosting.

These are always a big hit at my work, everyone asks if I can make them at every potluck! I did add some cheddar cheese and splurge a little on good ham, thanks!

Crunchy Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
We are not celery fans so we did without them. Just browned the chicken with a little oil and water added garlic/pepper and mixed all ingredients, my husband and I loved it. We will make this again.
