About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mommy with one little girl. I've been married for 4 years to a great guy. I love cooking for my family, it makes me feel good to know that they enjoy having me cook for them. My husband often jokes that he married me for my tacos. LOL!!!
My favorite things to cook
Tacos, Stew, and Chili are my favorites, but I enjoy trying new things too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We always have a big thanksgiving dinner with all the family when we can, and we like to bake Christmas cookies together.
My cooking triumphs
I successfully cooked my very first Thanksgiving day dinner all by myself this past year, with NOTHING from a can. Still can't believe it turned out as well as it did.
My cooking tragedies
I can't bake anything to save my life. Those Christmas cookies I was talking about, I only decorate them.

Hunts(R) Tomato and Bacon Tortellini
This was so good!! I made this last night. Simple recipe that can be thrown together in a matter of minutes. My whole family loved it. The only change I made was using the Italian Cheese and Herb cooking creme from Philadelphia instead of the chive and onion cream cheese.

Chicken and Fresh Tomato Slow Cooker Stew
I loved this recipe. I cooked it without the potatoes, only because I didn't have any on hand. I also used canned tomatoes because I didn't have any fresh. To spice it up I sprinkled the chicken with lemon pepper, and added some garlic. I also used one can of garlic and oregano canned tomatoes with a no salt added can of tomatoes and a garlic and oregano tomato sauce, with a no salt added tomato sauce. turned out perfect!! Our whole family loved it.

Mom's Paprika Chicken with Potatoes
My whole family loved this. I did change it up a little, but it's a great base recipe. I sauteed onions and garlic along with the chicken that I couldn't help but sprinkle with a little bit of lemon pepper. I also took some of the other reviewers advice and cooked the potatoes in the microwave for 4 minutes before throwing them into the chicken pan. I them let all of them cook together with the rest if the ingredients for about 5-10 minutes, and noticed it was looking a little dry, so I added some chicken broth and white wine. I then let it simmer for about 20 more minutes, when it came out it was perfect, and very tasty!!
