Popovers

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
Very easy recipe and foolproof! Taste great with butter and jam when fresh out of the oven. I melt a little butter in each cup of the popover pan and spray the insides and top of the pan with nonstick spray. Thanks for the recipe.

Chinese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
For such a simple combination of ingredients, the flavor turns out amazing! I have used this as a marinade for chicken as well as pork. Marinaded them for 2 hours minimum. All times we have BBQ'd the meat and LOVE the flavor. Thanks for this one!

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
We live in San Diego and eat a lot of fish tacos at Rubios or down in Baja. We tried this recipe with freshy caught fish and were extremely happy with the results. My husband wants to make this for the guys at his fire station so it is THAT GOOD! The batter and sauce are key and make the recipe.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2006
This was fantastic. I marinated thin boneless chops for 24 hours with the sauce and onions. Added some chopped garlic too. Baked it then sliced it up and served it mixed with Jasmine rice and sauteed french green beans stir fried in sesame oil. Sprinkled the mixture with toasted sesame seeds. My Hubbie, 2 and 3 year old could not stop eating it. No leftovers!! A keeper for me.

Best Whole Wheat Chocolate Chippers

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2006
Was very happy with the way these turned out. I am impressed with how moist the cookies have remained even 3 days after baking them. More chewy and thick rather than the traditional white flour cookies that are thin and flat. I also added chopped macadamia nuts instead of walnuts/pecans. Yum.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2006
Really good bread! I used a little less sugar than called for and also used whole wheat flour. It turned out moist and very tasty. My husband raved.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
I was so happy to find this recipe and try it. This soup was served at one of my favorite restaurants that closed recently. We loved this recipe and it was pretty close to the restaurants version. I added some cayenne pepper to it and that completed it nicely. It was an absolute hit with my husband too! Definately will make this again.
