Easy Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
This was an easy to make but really good recipe. I did cut down the sugar in the coffee cake from 1 1/4 to 1 cup and hubby who was a very sweet tooth still loved it. I think it was due to the sugar you get from the chocolate chips. Next time I may even substitute the chocolate chips for apple because I think that would be a god combination with the pecans and cinnamon...or maybe a combination of white chocolate chips and apple? Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Tetrazzini for a Crowd

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
I made almost as is except to lighten up a bit, used reduced fat cream of mushroom soup and 2% cheddar cheese instead. I also added diced red and yellow pepper only because I had leftover on hand and a little onion powder, garlic salt and crushed red pepper flakes for extra flavor. This recipe turned out great (even with the reduced fat ingredients), thanks for sharing.

Special Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
Good recipe, thanks Sara. This is similar to my regular recipe but with the addition of horseradish. I wasn't sure if it would be good but the horseradish was great in the eggs, not too overpowering. I used onion powder but otherwise made the recipe as is and everyone seemed to enjoy.

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
I doubled the recipe and made this for Thanksgiving. I took the advice of others and used half mayonnaise and half sour cream and added the cracker crumb topping and also some onion powder and garlic salt. I also added 1lb of diced ham (1/2 Virginia and 1/2 spicy Capicola) to make it a meal and everyone loved this casserole. A little heavy for me but hey it was Thanksgiving.

Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
I have made this recipe time and time again - it always turns out great! I too use beef broth instead of the water and it adds a little extra flavor. I have also made it without the barley and it is just as good. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
This recipe gets so many great reviews so I was eager to try it. I followed the recipe exactly except for adding a little marsala wine to the soup mixture. I was very dissapointed. My husband who is not a picky eater did not care for it either but said he might have like it better without the breading. Maybe I will try again without the marsala and breading. The pork chops were very tender though.
