I am blessed with a very diverse background. I am part Arab, part Greek, and I was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. I am married to a wonderful man who appreciates good food, and a beautiful 2 yr-old daughter who loves helping me out in the kitchen and pretending she is cooking. My extended family is quite large: I am the eldest of 19 grandchildren.
My favorite things to cook
I am always up for any challenge and am willing to try new things. My specialty is Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean, but I certainly enjoy coming up with my own recipes that could fall under any other category.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from along line of excellent cooks. I suppose it's genetic. I have very fond memories of spending time with my mother in the kitchen, especially on the holidays.
