Made this recipe into mini tarts for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them! The crust really is like a delicious cookie and the filling is fabulous! Thanks for the recipe!

Broccoli Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
After putting this recipe together, it seemed a bit too runny and a tad bland, so before cooking it I added the rest of the 32oz package of broccoli, a cup or more of shredded cheddar cheese, a bit more salt and some crushed garlic. Thank you so much, it's a good recipe and tweeking it to your own personal preference makes it fabulous!

Pumpkin Cookies V

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
Yum These definately fixed the pumpkin craving! Would add a touch more spice to the cookies next time (pumpkin pie spice maybe) but will definately make again. Thanks for the great recipe!

Nutty Seasoned Popcorn

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
I'm pretty neutral on this recipe. The herbs lend a VERY subtle, refreshing herbiness, but I'm not sure it goes really well with the popcorn and nuts. I also didn't like how the dried herbs stay in your mouth after the popcorn is gone. I enjoyed this as something different, but probably won't bother next time.

Apple Brine for Turkey the Night Before Cooking

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
Well after reading Godiva Goddess's review and finding out that it is not supposed to be apple-y, I have to change my rating and give it a 5. After all, my hubby did say it was the best turkey he's ever had! The turkey turned out moist and delicious. Rinse the turkey before you roast it and careful with the seasonings, it doesn't need much more salt! Thanks for the great recipe Godiva!

Italian Biscotti

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
This was great! The texture is a little bit more tender than some teeth breaking biscotti I've had before, but I found it to be very pleasant. Can't wait to make this for gifts!

Potato Pancakes II

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
Pretty good. For me, I thought they needed a bit more seasoning (onion powder and garlic powder would do the trick) and some flour or something to help them stay together. Will try it again next time with some tweaks. Thanks for the recipe!

Le Marriage, Alfredo Algerie

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
Excellent taste, but OH MY GOSH THE FAT!!! I used Skim Milk instead of cream and thickened slightly with cornstarch. Didn't miss the cream but I'm sure if you used it, it would knock the socks (and belts) off of company. This makes a pile of sauce so I added some cut up cooked brocolli, mushrooms and red bell peppers. Wonderful special occasion dish!

Play Dough Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
Finally I bought cream cheese just in time to make this recipe for halloween! The cookie tasted delicious, and the orange and black stripe turned out beautifully! One caution, don't underbake. I did and mine were a little too soft to stand up on the stick so I had to back each one with chocolate. Nobody complained though :)

Napoleon Cremes

Delicious! They are easy to make and yet taste so rich and decadent, unlike alot of quick, no-bake desserts using packaged ingredients. These would be perfect at christmas-time, can't wait to make them again! PS They are the best using pistachio pudding!

Pumpkin Delight

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
Sorry this recipe just didn't quite work. First of all, it wasn't very pumpkin-y or pumpkin pie-ish, just cool-whipish, so I ended up trippling the pumpkin pie spice and adding some extra cinnamon. Second of all, there was wayyy more than what was needed to fill a pie shell, what a waste. Finally, after waiting for it to set in the fridge for a few hours, I had to scoop it out of the shell and add another package of pudding to thicken it to make it pie or even pudding consistency. Sorry, won't be making this again.

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
This pie was delicious but for some reason it was an icky mustard yellow color. Not sure what happened (I used regular eggs and everything - not the omega 3 eggs that are much darker colored). It was such an unappetizing color that no one would try it. I'll probably try this recipe one more time though, because the picture for this recipe sure looks good, wonder what happened to mine...

Waffles I

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
These turned out beautifully! They even had a nice buttery taste which is wierd considering there's no butter in them! Not sweet so I added more vanilla and sugar but that's just a personal preference. Will definately use this recipe again, thank you!

Grilled Cheese with Tomato, Peppers and Basil

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
I loved this!!! (My 2 and 3 year old, not so much, but that was to be expected) Used jalapeno instead of serrano as I was told they're similar. Next time I will slice the cheese thinner and put it on both sides of the tomato because I didn't really like the tomato next to the bread - made it soggy, but that is just nit-picking. This was delish!!
