Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
I've made this recipe twice now. Both times when I pulled it out of the oven the toothpick was clean and the bread had rose beautifully. 5 minutes later it sinks and is gooey on the inside. The taste isn't bad, but the texture is awful, not to mention was too sticky for my personal likings.

Nut Roll!! I am so happy to see someone put up a recipe similar to my grandmothers famously delicious nut rolls!! Of course, Grandma's is the best. And as soon as I get the exact recipe from her I will post it up here.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
I strongly suggest using JASMIN rice, cooked, as well as steak seasoning, fresh garlic, and a few dashes of Worcestershire's sauce. If you aren't using a slow cooker like the rest of America, put rolls in a lasagna pan, cover with 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can tomato juice. If you are going to do all the work of delicious stuffed cabbage, you might as while do a whole head of cabbage with 1 lb ground beef, 1 lb ground turkey and enjoy it. This recipe is ok, but definitely not the best by any means. Use above alterations and enjoy!

was tasty.. after 2 days though the filling does not look very appetizing. so my suggestion would be to eat it before that!

Tiny Tarts

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
Grandma has made these for years. She puts a whole pecan on top of these yummy tarts while baking, though. Not only do they look prettier, but they taste darn good too!

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
this is a great recipe. i bought chicken pinwheel's instead of breasts, boiled them, then shredded and simmered in the tomato sauces/ salsa for about 25 minutes. we used this in soft taco shells and they were fabulous. try using medium or hot salsa as well as add tomato sauce if the chicken dries up. i used a bit of chili powder as well as cumin and a dash of coriander. yum!

blah! the taste of the pumpkin and creamcheese layer are absolutely divine! however, the thing never set. its mush, not pie. however delicious it may be (since i love pumpkin!) congrats to everyone else who got what they wanted, though.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
Sigh. I followed this recipe to a T, and it smells divine as I type this. But in the center is one big, giant, ugly, inch thick X. I tried so hard to make it beautiful! I hope it tastes amazing, as I will try to make another one tomorrow that looks better. Otherwise, what a waste of money and ingredients and time. The tops and sides are nice and pale, no browned sides. So why the crack??!! :( UPDATE: I really did not care for the taste of this recipe. Consistancy was fine, it looked ok (aside from the giant cracks), and it smelled delicious. The taste- not great at all. There were a few who enjoyed it somewhat, but just not a hit here. I'll keep looking.

Crazy Crust Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2007
It was quick and easy to make, so-so tasty, but the edges almost burnt. I did flip the dough half-way through.... I think the pizza was so tasty because of the toppings I chose! Easy, though. And my son ate it up!

Pretzel Dessert

My Grandmother also has a similar recipe, however, she used either fresh or frozen strawberries in the jello which really makes a difference! It is absolutely delicious that way!
