About this Cook
Mother of 1, love to try new things in the kitchen, baking for the holidays is a must, currently enrolled in school for photography.
My favorite things to cook
homemade pasta, anything italian, mexican, and satisfying. not to mention holiday cookies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
;) everything my grandmother taught me.
My cooking triumphs
pasta, 6 layer lasagna, stuffed cabbage, chili! and great grandma's cookie recipes.
My cooking tragedies
have had troubles in the past with cooking temps too high. sometimes, its just a good idea to let it go slow and allow the flavors to just mix perfectly!

Zucchini Bread IV
I've made this recipe twice now. Both times when I pulled it out of the oven the toothpick was clean and the bread had rose beautifully. 5 minutes later it sinks and is gooey on the inside. The taste isn't bad, but the texture is awful, not to mention was too sticky for my personal likings.

Walnut Poteca
Nut Roll!! I am so happy to see someone put up a recipe similar to my grandmothers famously delicious nut rolls!! Of course, Grandma's is the best. And as soon as I get the exact recipe from her I will post it up here.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
I strongly suggest using JASMIN rice, cooked, as well as steak seasoning, fresh garlic, and a few dashes of Worcestershire's sauce. If you aren't using a slow cooker like the rest of America, put rolls in a lasagna pan, cover with 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can tomato juice. If you are going to do all the work of delicious stuffed cabbage, you might as while do a whole head of cabbage with 1 lb ground beef, 1 lb ground turkey and enjoy it. This recipe is ok, but definitely not the best by any means. Use above alterations and enjoy!
