Snickerdoodles IV

First off, WOW. I picked this recipe because of its good reviews - and it looked easy. It not only was super easy, but the cookies came out amazingggggg. I ended up making 3 batches the first time around, for teachers in a school. I didn't get 24 cookies per batch though - I got closer to 50. I guess I was rolling them too small? Anyway, halfway through the day, the cookies were all eaten. I am just making another batch, this time making them even smaller and I got 75 cookies out of it. When they cook they are still pretty sizable, so I don't feel like people are getting cut short on cookie taste. A friend from Hungary said, after tasting one, "These are so good, they remind me of home. Can you make more?" Amazing recipe, deserves 10 stars.

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

WOW I bought an ice cream maker but thought making it was going to be time consuming and hard. Then we found this recipe... It's amazingly good and we will probably never purchase ice cream again. We tried to modify the recipe to make C&C but it just didn't come out right.. That's okay, the mint chip is sooooooooo good that we don't care. Absolutely wonderful recipe, delicious and easy. It's a keeper!!!

Fortune Cookies I

Last year I tested a few different recipes for FC's on this website. They were all delicious, but unique in their own way. This week I used this recipe, and was flabbergasted. I couldn't believe how well they turned out! They are crunchy and not burned. To spread the cookies, I sprayed my cookie sheet with cooking spray, then wiped with a paper towel. I dropped a spoonful on the sheet, then using the back of the spoon I spread it in a circle. It made a, almost perfect, circle, was thin enough to not come out cakey. I repeated the cooking spray & towel wipe for each time I reused the cookie sheet. I also changed the Vanilla to Almond extract. Everything else I did exactly as it says in the recipe. Great taste!!! So excited to whip up a couple batches!!

Pastry for Double-Crust Pie

I came online searching for a new crust recipe for my quiche, since I couldn't find my old one. I came across this recipe and decided to give it a try. First off, it was incredibly easy to make. Second off, I've never had a crust that was so easy to roll. It always falls apart on me! This crust stayed intact. I'm eating my quiche right now and its sooooo tasty!!
