Baked Potato Soup V

The soup was great and I received lots of compliments. I made a double batch for tailgating. It does take a long time to make. And I made the mistake of putting it in the fridge overnight. DON'T DO THAT. It will be a large pot of mashed potatoes the next morning. I had to add about 1/2 gallon of milk and some chicken broth to thin it out. My mistake, But everyone loved it anyway.

Snack Crackers

These are a delicious snack for a party or just anytime. My father-in-law has made them for years and I finally made them myself. Its the easiest snack you will ever make.

Chicken Enchiladas II

I followed this recipe and loved it. I think next time I will make the following few changes: use cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom, add a can of black beans to the mixture, and use a white cheese sause instead of of chedder cheese.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

I loved this pot pie. Relatively easy and delicious. I used frozen vegetables and cooked them in with the chicken. I forgot to get the pir crusts out early and thaw them so the top didn't look great but it still tasted good.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Made according to the recipe. Used the sugar cookie icing recipe on top. These cookies were delicious! Next time I think I will try to make them a little more thick just because I like them thicker.

Sugar Cookie Icing

This icing is delicious! It is just like a local bakery makes. I used a sugar cookie recipe from this site as well and they turned out delicious. I can't wait to make Christmas cookies. With the recommendation of others I did use 1 tsp. more of milk and 1 tsp. more of light corn syrup. I also used other extracts to change the taste slightly. Although the extra liquid in the icing was great for covering the entire cookie. I think next time I will try the original recipe for piping details on the cookies.

Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese I

Everyone lovest this mac & cheese whenever I make it. I do slightly cook the pasta before putting it into the crock pot. I also half the eggs to make it a little less custard like.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Very good recipe. I had to boil mine fore a bit longer for the beans to soften which was fine. It did thicken up a bit so I added a little chicken broth to thin it out.
