Chicken Scampi

I didn't have every single thing I needed for this. My green onions had gone bad and I was out of olive oil, but this was delicious anyway. My husband had two servings and my daughter had all the leftovers. Will definitely make again.

Buttermilk Pie IV

It's taken me a long time to get around to reviewing this. I've been using this recipe for years. The only change I've ever made was to substitute real butter for margarine. This is so delicious and it's the first dessert that's gone on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Loved this. Great comfort food and a great way to use up the Thanksgiving turkey. I used turkey stock instead of chicken bouillon, but other than that i made it as written. I make this every year and it's always a hit.

Acapulco Chicken

Fast, easy and healthy recipe. I always go to this one when I have chicken but no ideas. I add garlic, but other than that I make it as written., Great served with a black bean and corn salsa.

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Just like my grandmother used to make. I'm not crazy about recipes made with "cream of..." soups, but that's the only way this recipe tastes right. It's one to pass down the line. A great traditional holiday recipe.

Savory Spinach Casserole

I actually loved this. It was a little bit rich, but it was a great way to jazz up spinach a little bit. I'm giving it four stars because my husband didn't like it, but he's not as big of a cream cheese eater as I am. In my opinion everything is better with cream cheese on it. I'll make it again.

Apple Cake VII

Slow-Cooker Posole

I would eat this once a week if my husband would allow it. In fact, I have some in the freezer right now that I'm thinking about having for dinner. Perfect served with some shredded cabbage stirred in with a squeeze of lime and a fried corn tortilla on the side. Delicious and good for you, without the tortilla I guess.

Greek Salad

I liked this, but 5 tablespoons is way too much oil. I used maybe 2 tablespoons of olive oil instead. While I liked it, my husband is not a fan of cucumbers so if I make it again I'll leave them out. I thought it was great, just way too oily as written.

Holiday Cranberry Sauce

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

I searched high and low for a scratch strawberry cake recipe for my daughters birthday. This was perfect as written. I had to use all-purpose flour instead of cake flour because there wasn't any in my store. I'll be making this again.
