Latin-Inspired Spicy Cream Chicken Stew

Excellent. I was already way into this before I realized I didn't have any green salsa. It was wonderful without though. I'll be sure and add it next time which I'm sure will improve it.

Easy Sour Cream Cheesecake

I've been cooking a long, long time but this was my first attempt at cheesecake. My husband requested one for Easter. I picked this recipe simply because it called for the amount of cream cheese I happened to have. I made a graham cracker crust but otherwise followed the recipe to a T. It turned out perfect and was embarrassingly easy to make. I'll use this one over and over.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Perfect. I've made something similar before and it's always been great. I made a little more cheese sauce than I needed but it was fantastic with a baked ham and asparagus for Easter. Will make again.

Oven-Roasted Asparagus

I liked this fine, but I thought the asparagus was a little bit bitter. It was easy to make though which is a plus. I'll work with it and see if I can figure out how to get it perfect. Maybe it was the the asparagus I bought.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Exactly what I was looking for. It's fast and easy. I did let it rise a bit longer than the recipe stated, but only because I just happened to let that happen. Pizza was done in 30 minutes. It takes longer than that to get take-out. Will be using this again and again.

Quick and Easy Brownies

I baked 11 dozen of these over a two day period, on dozen for my family and 10 for my students. They were a huge hit. The first time I followed the suggestions in the reviews and only used 1 cup of flour and three eggs. They were good, but not as good as the others that I made according to the recipe, with the exception of using only 1/2 stick of butter. They were easy, fast and delicious. I'll never buy a box mix again.

Lentil and Sausage Soup

Fabulous! I didn't have celery or chicken broth and I used kielbasa instead of Italian sausage. I also added some frozen spinach. This was perfect with some hot sauce, a spoon of sour cream and some grated cheese and served with garlic bread. A new favorite. My husband just went back for seconds.m

Restaurant Style Egg Drop Soup

I made this last night with stir fry and eggrolls. It was perfect, just like I've had in my favorite Chinese restaurant. I had all the ingredient on hand. I did substitute the chives for green onion and I added chopped onion. I thickened it before adding the egg as per the reviews. It couldn't have turned out better. I'll be making this again.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

I used five pounds of pork roast and as a result I needed more BBQ sauce than I had on hand. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it was wonderful and would have been better if not for me. Tons of leftovers which I always love.

Chicken Scampi

I didn't have every single thing I needed for this. My green onions had gone bad and I was out of olive oil, but this was delicious anyway. My husband had two servings and my daughter had all the leftovers. Will definitely make again.

Buttermilk Pie IV

It's taken me a long time to get around to reviewing this. I've been using this recipe for years. The only change I've ever made was to substitute real butter for margarine. This is so delicious and it's the first dessert that's gone on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Loved this. Great comfort food and a great way to use up the Thanksgiving turkey. I used turkey stock instead of chicken bouillon, but other than that i made it as written. I make this every year and it's always a hit.

Fast, easy and healthy recipe. I always go to this one when I have chicken but no ideas. I add garlic, but other than that I make it as written., Great served with a black bean and corn salsa.

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Just like my grandmother used to make. I'm not crazy about recipes made with "cream of..." soups, but that's the only way this recipe tastes right. It's one to pass down the line. A great traditional holiday recipe.
