Curried Butternut Squash and Pear Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Absolutely wonderful. I was a little skeptical about the pears, but it turned out very delish esp with the rainy cold weather we're having. I did tweak the recipe a bit. instead of baking which takes long, i boiled the squash. Cut the time in half drastically. i just added to the boil, all the ingredients one by one. i did not have half & half, but used soymilk which was healthier. i pureed everything, and it was very yummy and full of flavor. my husband raved! Thank you!!

Grilled Salmon Kyoto

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
So, I had to tweak the recipe a tad only because I had orange juice(Tropicana), tomato marinara sauce, and no green onions, nor ginger. Everything else I had. I placed half an onion, 3 cloves of garlic, the orange juice, the marinara sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and vegetable oil all into a blender. Then I heated in a sauce pan for about 5 mins. Basted the salmon steaks with this sauce, and cooked in oven at 375degrees for about 20mins. Came out moist and tasty!! Especially for not having all the ingredients. Husband raved! Thank you!

Asian Salmon Cakes with Creamy Miso and Sake Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
I must say that this dish was absolutely delicious. I used authentic Miso paste and Sesame oil from Japan. I used a tablespoon of the Miso paste, and it was a little too much. The other user was right. You just need maybe half a tablespoon, but all other measurements were perfect. Salmon cakes came out good texture, and the sauce with it was yummm. I made my own chinese fried rice to go with it, and it was really tasty, my hubby just ate up the whole dish! It came out to be about 7 salmon cakes. :)

Singapore Noodle Curry Shrimp

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
I didn't have most of the ingredients, but it came out simply great. I had some Thai-style veggies, that I added, and I also added maybe 2 Tablespoons of soy milk, which gave it a nice flavor with the curry...The whole dish came out fantastic... :)

This came out so creamy and smooth! I also added a few sticks of carrots for added color. I didn't have the vegetable stock, so I created my own! Just boiled some water, added fresh cilantro, parseley and some dashes of black pepper and salt to taste! It was added to the rest, and it was soooo divine! My hubby raved!! simply wonderful! :)

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2006
Very very nice! The only difference for me is that I didn't have potatoes, or the heavy cream. I did use 1pack of frozen green beans/carrots/corn, and about a cup of organic soy milk. Everything else I did the same. IT CAME OUT GREAT!! I followed the recipe with these additions, and it was creamy and spicy. I put it over brown rice with baked Chilean bass steaks. My husband raved! Even with the changes, it came out wonderful, and the aroma..AHHH..just like a restaurant!

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
These cookies came out absoluely fab last nite!! Instead of pecans, I added walnuts, not too crushed, and it was just awesome! My hubby is such a cookie-lover....and he just couldn't stop eating them. He likes them crunchy, and leaving them extra 5 mins, and turning them over, and putting them back for another 5 was just PERFECT. I love this recipe! Every cookie recipe from this site, always comes out great, if you follow the recipe! Thanks soo much! :))
