Curried Butternut Squash and Pear Soup
Absolutely wonderful. I was a little skeptical about the pears, but it turned out very delish esp with the rainy cold weather we're having. I did tweak the recipe a bit. instead of baking which takes long, i boiled the squash. Cut the time in half drastically. i just added to the boil, all the ingredients one by one. i did not have half & half, but used soymilk which was healthier. i pureed everything, and it was very yummy and full of flavor. my husband raved! Thank you!!

Grilled Salmon Kyoto
So, I had to tweak the recipe a tad only because I had orange juice(Tropicana), tomato marinara sauce, and no green onions, nor ginger. Everything else I had. I placed half an onion, 3 cloves of garlic, the orange juice, the marinara sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and vegetable oil all into a blender. Then I heated in a sauce pan for about 5 mins. Basted the salmon steaks with this sauce, and cooked in oven at 375degrees for about 20mins. Came out moist and tasty!! Especially for not having all the ingredients. Husband raved! Thank you!
