Sour Cream Chicken Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
Love, Love, LOVED it! I doubled the recipe so we'd have some leftovers & am so glad that I did. My entire family thought this was divine. I used a rotisserie chicken from my local deli & doubled the salt like someone else suggested. It was perfect. My small family of 3 ended up eating this for every meal & managed to eat both pies in 2 days. My son is already asking that I make it again. This one is a keeper for sure! Thank you so much!!!

Spanish Flan

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
I've made this recipe a dozen times, and it's wonderful. Like others have said, a water bath is a must if you want the perfect texture. I've also made it with 4oz of cream cheese and lemon zest. It was amazing, too.

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
After having a major chocolate craving one night, I found this recipe and decided to try it. I am SO glad I did. These brownies are amazing. Once I even was short on regular sugar and added in some brown sugar & the result was still unbelievable. One of my family favorites. Thank you!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
Best pizza crust EVER! I've made this crust dozens of times now, and I'm always happy with the results. We've even rolled string cheese into the edges of the crust before baking and it makes the perfect stuffed crust. Love it.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
We loved this recipe. It's my husband's favorite meal to order out & now I'm happy to be able to make it at home. We baked in the oven instead of microwaving, but no other changes. Thank you for a delicious recipe!

Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
Loved it. The first time I made this exactly as the recipe states. It was very good as is, but we modified the second time to match our personal taste preference. We decreased the topping sugar by 1/2 and doubled the cinnamon. I serve with honey on the side for those who want a more authentic sopapilla experience! Thanks for the recipe!

Ellen Szaller's Mashed Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
My son and I made these for a quick late night dinner. I had been looking for a long time for a good recipe and this is it. I did make a couple of changes. I omitted the corn syrup and nutmeg. I also added 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. These turned out perfect. We topped them with sour cream and I am planning on making another batch right now. We used left over pancakes for a modified eggs benedict. We topped them with canadian bacon, poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. So delicious.

Impossibly Easy Breakfast Bake (Crowd Size)

This is our traditional family Christmas breakfast. I can make it up the night before and put it in the oven Christmas morning while we are all opening gifts. Really good.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
Really good recipe. I grilled chicken breast first and then added the sauce and heated through in the oven. As others suggested, I doubled the sauce and am glad that I did. I also added fresh mushrooms to the sauce. Fantastic tasting! I had fettucine on hand, so that is what we used. I will make this again, soon!

Mock Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
I must admit, I was VERY skeptical about trying this recipe, but I am so happy that I did. I didn't have green onions, so I used onion powder & it was fantastic. Shocking how it tastes like tuna. Thanks so much!

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
A really good, versatile recipe. I used all organic ingredients to really boost the nutritional value. I also added a bag of trail mix that had nuts, coconut, and dried fruit all in one. It is very hearty and a great energy snack for my active family.

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
I have made this recipe a dozen times and I am never disappointed. It's delicious as is, but I've also modified it to use up leftover veggies from my refrigerator. I've made it with various combinations of asparagus pieces, mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli...and anything else I had on hand. It's wonderful every single time. I've even used canned biscuits that were on sale. I rolled them out into a 9x13" square and covered my casserole. The flavors are perfect and this dish is the perfect comfort food. Thanks for sharing!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: May 10, 2008
YUM! I made these as an appetizer one night for supper & we didn't eat anything else. So good. I had left over capers in balsamic vinegar that I thought I'd try on a few slices & it was delicious. This recipe served with a salad would make a wonderful lunch or simple supper!

Comforting Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2014
We absolutely loved this recipe. I put it in the crockpot on low before going to work & it was perfect when I arrived home. We served it with mashed potatoes and green beans. The gravy was better than I expected and we will make this recipe again and again. It will make a perfect freezer meal to prepare ahead of time. Thank you!! ****I just wanted to add that we tried this recipe with chicken breast and a pouch of dried vegetable dip mix, and it was just as wonderful. I've shared this recipe with many people and it never fails. We've made it 5 times since discovering it.****

Pork Dumplings

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
Really good filling. I had trouble with the folding of the dumplings - because I'm all thumbs, so I decided to rolls these like mini egg rolls. Delicious. We dipped them in a red chili thai sauce and loved the flavor. I froze 1/2 of this recipe on baking sheets and placed baggies of 10 in the freezer. My son loves them for a quick after school snack or a quick weekend lunch.

Greek Pasta Salad with Roasted Vegetables and Feta

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
This was the first recipe that I made from this site. Modified it a little to satisfy my "meat & potatoes" husband. I omitted the arugula & added grilled chicken strips. I also topped the pasta with a few black olives for presentation. Very good!

Baklava

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2007
I've made this several times for family gatherings, work carry-ins, and even for a bake sale at my sons school. It comes out perfect every time. I always add the lemon zest to the sauce, as suggested. Very excellent recipe.

Kool-Aid Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2007
I've made this recipe on numerous occasions with a couple of minor differences. I change out the milk & sugar and replace them with a can of sweetened condensed milk. It is fantastic! I usually use a pre-made graham cracker crust instead of wafers. I've also made this with black cherry Kool-Aid & stirred in dark chocolate chips. It tastes just like a chocolate covered cherry. Yum!
