About this Cook
Hello everyone My name is Genevieve a.k.a Gen, Genni. I live in East London with my mum and hamster and i live in Kent with my dad. I also go to school in Kent. I'm half Guyanese (carribean), 1/4 english, 1/8 Welsh and 1/8 Scottish. I love to dance and i've been dancing since i was 3 years old, i used to do modern and ballet but at the moment i'm at stageschool and doing jazz. I also like drawing (although i cannot draw very well), cooking of course, singing and playing the piano. When i grow up i want to be a jazz singer and i want to have my own bar! I speak a little spanish, a little french, a little Welsh and even a little Chinese! Wo de ming ze she Genni... My name is Genni. My favourite things are my friends, my family, my hamster, dance and SHOPPING! In my spare time i like to go to the cinema, shop, read, exercise and sleep. That's all folks!!!!!!!! xxx
My favorite things to cook
I like baking, cookies and cakes....mmmm...... and i thought making cake mix cakes was really good of me....
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mum makes this chicken casserole which is really nice and she makes holondaise sauce (I probably didn't spell that right) that's nice as well. I remember that on christmas day, me and mum would go to my grandmother's house and she'd make chicken and if i didn't eat it all i wouldn't get any presents! My dad is a good cook, he has so many cook books around the house but he hasn't cooked for me yet!
My cooking triumphs
I made jam tarts and they turned out soooooooooooooo nice i ate all 12 of them! I also made lemon cheese cake which was so nice and kind of wobbly like jelly.
My cooking tragedies
I made chocolate mousse and dropped my plaster in it!!!!!!!!!!! Ewwwwwwwwwwww! It was so gross but it tasted ok.
