Navajo Fry Bread II

So yummy! I grew up eating Fry Bread often in Arizona and this recipe did not disappoint. This is extremely tasty and extraordinarily quick. Now for the changes--luckily I read the reviews so I did the 2 tsp salt and went ahead and added flour until it would be ready for ordinary bread--tacky but not sticky. If you are in a bread mixer like a Bosch, this would be when the dough all pulls away from all sides (and middle for a Bosch). For me this was 5+ cups of flour, but I don't really keep track exactly for bread. I will be making this often. Thank you!

Chewy Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Brownies

This recipe is incredible!! I like the flavor of whole wheat in my baked goods. This is not too overpoweringly peanut buttery and is chewy, just like it says. A keeper!

Southern Apricot Chicken

It was good! My kids liked it. I made this super quickly by browning cubed raw chicken in a skillet and then pouring the sauce over it and simmering for 10 minutes. Thank you!

Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

These pancakes are amazing! This is now my standard for wheat pancakes. I had no idea wheat pancakes could taste this good. I will definitely make for company. I grind my own wheat flour and I used that plus the germ.

Oatmeal Pancakes

So yummy! A keeper. We served this with homemade peach jam that I had on hand. The batter was so runny I added about 1/2 c. brown rice flour (white flour would have done the trick, too). They were still thin but that seemed to be the intent. Also, I didn't have buttermilk and subbed with water and regular milk. I will make these over and over again.
