About this Cook
I am a 37-year-old working mom. I truly love my career as a lawyer, but it pales in comparison to how I feel about the job of parenting. Having my daughter four years ago was the best thing to ever happen to me. The two of us love to cook together. She is creative and loves to eat almost as much as she loves to cook!
My favorite things to cook
I love to fondue, and I love to grill. I like making and eating Italian food, and I love making fun things for my daughter to eat.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Huge pots of spaghetti on a winter day. Soups, stews, and slow cooking.
My cooking triumphs
Chicken breast diavolo. The best recipe in the world, I believe.
My cooking tragedies
Any time I attempt to bake! Baking...definitely NOT my thing.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken
This is definitely one of THE BEST chicken dishes I have ever had. The chicken turned out so moist and tender. The flavor was super fantastic. It had just the right amount of spice to it. Even my husband, who normally doesn't like garlic, loved this dish. It was not a boring dish, but not so over the top that my four-year-old would turn her nose up at it. In fact, my daughter loved it too. I will be making this one again and again! Heck...maybe tomorrow!

Sugarless Pumpkin Pie II
I made this for my daughter, because I don't like to give her sugar. We both liked it alot. I do think it tastes a little different than regular pumpkin pie; however, it is still absolutely yummy. I will definitely make this at Thanksgiving as an alternative to the other pies/desserts. We can all use a little less sugar in our diets!
