Chicken Pot Pie IX
Fantastic recipe! First time I've made Chicken Pot pie and it came out fantastic. I used a bag of mixed veggies and some fresh sliced up celery. I threw all the veggies and precooked chicken into a pan with chicken broth to let the veggies warm and become tender. In a 2nd pan, I combined the melted butter, flour, and milk. To this I also added Onion powder and dried chives because I did not have a fresh onion. While stirring, I added the rest of the chicken broth slowly until I liked the taste and consistency of the sauce. I strained the veggies from the first pan and mixed it with the sauce and baked it in the pie crust (which I did prebake for 6 minutes as said by others). Excellent recipe. We had this dinner for 2 nights for 2 adults. Low cost per serving recipe - great when on a budget!

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
The combination of the brownie and cheesecake works really well together and very easy to prepare. I jotted down the recipe ingredients quick and didn't realize until late in the evening when I was putting it together that the topping shown in the picture is not included in the recipe. I was very disappointed in this - wish I had known, I would have also picked up some sour cream for a topping. Luckily I did have some unsweetened chocolate in the cabinet and the box it came in has a simple recipe for chocolate frosting. I did this and then added more chocolate chips - looks great.

Chocolate Brittle Surprise
This was Excellent! One Change that my Husband thought of and made a Great Difference is using Graham Crackers instead of Saltines. We tried both and favor the Cinnamon Graham Crackers! The first batch we burned...I think ours only took like 10-13min...So keep a Close Eye on it.
