Slow Cooker Philly Steak Sandwich Meat

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2014
This was delicious!!!!! Bought some cheap thin sliced sirloin from Walmart and was looking for something to make it edible and decided on this recipe. The only ingredient I didn't add was marjoram, didn't have any... Threw it all in the crockpot for about 7 hours on low for 1.5 pounds of meat.. Smelled divine and tasted even better!!!!! Covered the rolls with the au jus after assembly and it was an amazing sandwich!!!!!!!! So keeping this in the go to file!!!!

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
It is a super simple recipe, took me something like 5 minutes to throw together which is great! I halved the recipe because there's just 2 of us and it was enough for 2 meals. Didn't have sharp Cheddar Cheese so had to use whatever was in the refrigerator (think it was Colby/Cheddar). I added some garlic salt and a dash of minced onion along with a generous amount of fresh ground pepper and it was done and waiting in about 40 minutes using my convection/bake feature. Actually could have pulled it out a little sooner as the top got pretty brown. I will definitely be making it again because of ease of preparation plus it's not terribly expensive to make and most generally I have all the ingredients on hand.

Garlic Bread Fantastique

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
Just made this recipe to go with lasagna, WOW it's a keeper! The only things I changed was to omit the salt and instead of sage and oregano I used a dipping spice from Mazzaro's Italian Market in St. Pete FL. It is one of the best garlic bread recipes I've tried and all the others are going in the recycle bin! Thanks for a great recipe

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
Awesome recipe, I used boneless skinless chicken thighs, marinated for 6 hours and the flavor and tenderness was great! I'm thinking of using it for a pork tenderloin I have in the fridge maybe using pineapple juice to boost the sweetness!

Kendra's Maid-Rite Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
Awesome simple recipe! I was looking for something quick for supper last night and came across this recipe, 15 minutes, DONE! I did follow the suggestion of one reviewer and used a packet of beefy onion soup instead of the chopped onion (to save time) and added some garlic salt. It really hit the spot and I will be making it again. Thanks Kendra!

Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
I've been making cream cheese mints for years and just tried adding the butter this recipe calls for, yummmmm! Adds just a little more depth to it and makes it easier to work I think. I'm making mints for my daughter's baby shower and instead of molding them I bought mini cookie cutters (bottle, bib and onsie) and just cut them out like sugar cookies! How simple! I wish I would've found that out sooner cuz molding takes FOREVER! Just sprinkle sugar on your surface after kneading the mix so it's smooth and roll it out. If any stick you can just throw them back in the remaining mix (or in your mouth in my case!) Thanks for a great recipe!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
Awesome recipe!! Made it for a family Christmas yesterday using frozen strawberries, raspberries and peaches then fresh kiwi and granny smith apples and it was a smash hit! It is a little time consuming to chop everything but it's well worth the time. I plan on making the cinnamon chips again just to have on hand for snacking! Even my hubby who isn't a big fruit fan loved it!

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2007
This is the easiest brisket recipe ever! I agree with other reviewers, make absolutely sure you have chili sauce, not cocktail sauce!!! Big difference! I made it for a bunch of guys and used a huge brisket from sam's and there wasn't a shred left. It's even better if you make it a day ahead and reheat to allow time for the flavors to blend.

Hoagie Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
I made this last night for supper, I doubled the recipe as I had 6 hungry guys to feed and there was absolutely none left! It is a little expensive but worth it. I baked the bottom crust for approximately 7 minutes and did not have a problem with soggy crust. I think it will also be a good starting point for making other varieties of sandwiches, great for a quick supper on the farm!

Italian Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
This is a great starting point for Italian pasta salad. I made it last night using tri color rotini pasta and added sliced ripe olives, pepperocini, green onions, chopped tomatoes and finely chopped pepperoni. It was a huge hit! My daughter wants me to make it for her wedding reception!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
This is an awesome recipe! I browned the patties then put them in the oven on 375 for approximately 20 minutes and they were perfect. I did double up on the gravy, used a can of condensed beef broth along with the other ingredients and it was absolutely fabulous. My daughter and mom both raved about it and are now fixing it themselves. Way to go!!!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
I really had my doubts about this at first! I melted the butter and the cream cheese and it looked like it would never work. But as soon as I started adding the milk it really came together. I used milk and 1/2 and 1/2 and added some freshly ground nutmeg then threw in some proscuitto and my husband and I both gobbled it up with never a thought about the fat, calories, etc. This is a definite keeper and whomever said it cost $7 to make.... where do you buy your groceries? Neiman Marcus?

Delmonico Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
This is absolutely the best cheesy hash brown recipe I've ever had and to top it off it's soooooo simple!!!!! I made 2 9x13 pans of it for some hard working farmers along with mock filet mignons and came home with about a spoonful of potatoes left over!!! I did cut down on the amount of butter like other reviewers. This is a definite keeper!
