Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2012
This recipe is verbatim the same recipe from the Nestle bag. Having said that, I usually have to increase the butter for the "bag" recipes. I increased butter to 1 cup, and baked a test batch. They spread a little more than I like, so I added a tablespoon of flour, and insted of dropping them on the cookie sheet, I rolled the dough into 1" balls. The rest of them came out perfect!

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
So, I made this recipe two ways. I made it according to the recipe exactly, and then I made it based on other reviewers' recommendations. In following the recipe, I felt like this needed more peaches. So, maybe add another 15 oz can & drain it. Also, I think I would cut the butter into the cake mix next time. In making it following other people's suggestions, I added another can of peaches (drained) and mixed the cake mix according to the box directions & poured the batter over the peaches. This was horrible! I baked the cake for 45 minutes and top of the cake was golden brown, but the middle was not done at all. It didn't taste good either. I felt like the filling needed to be thicker under the cake. I would suggest following the recipe on this one....don't make the cake batter!

Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
This was good! I followed the recipe exactly, but the next time I make it I will probably make a couple of changes. I felt like it could've used more fruit, so I would probably add half a can of pie filling and half a can of pineapple. As for the butter & cake mix, I think next time I will cut the butter into the cake mix with a pastry cutter. Great recipe for a quick dessert!
