Love this! Great as-is and is worthy of restaurant grade. I make this with Fettuccini rather than spaghetti and can't wait for shrimp pasta night!

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
AWESOME!!! MAKE SURE TO USE A FULL CUP OF SUGAR! If you rub some on the corned beef, put the rest into the guinness in the Pot. A friend of mine made it but never put it into the pot and hers came out totally different. Sugar is the key!! Be sure to use seasoning packet and add your own seasonings too! A winner! I added in cabbage the last hour too. Delish!

Green Punch

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
I freeze the main mixture, omit sugar, and serve next day with Ginger Ale. This really makes 2 full punch bowls. So I freeze in 2 gallon freezer bags. I have made this several times and people LOVE it! I ran out of it the first party I made it for

Apricot Glazed Pork Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
AWESOME!!! I have never liked Pork my entire life, but I LOVED this! OMG, i couldn't quit eating it! It came out so tender after 3 hours on High (I had a 2 pound pork roast). The only changes I made: 1/2 can of Broth, omitted the mustard (didn't have any), added Baby Carrots to the mix, and also added various spices: Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper, Dill Seed, Parsley, and Oregano. This is a great Sunday afternoon recipe. thank you!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2010
awesome awesome awesome! I added in Celery and Carrots, salt, pepper, parsley. YUMMO! It will take at least 1.5 hours to cook the dough on high, I recommend putting in 2 hours before serving. Also, use frozen chicken breasts, they will be nice and juicy when done! The second time I made this with a cornish hen, then took it out and cut the chicken into pieces and added them back in right before serving. Great stuff. I also used chicken broth instead of water to make it more flavorful. My family and best friend couldn't get enough!!! Thank you for a great and easy recipe!

Pumpkin Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
Awesome! I made this for a Halloween Party we had and people loved it. My modifications: NO tomato juice. I have tomato juice in chili. Instead I used 2 quarts of canned tomatoes. I also used 1/8 cup of sugar (any more would have killed people with sweetness). I used about 2.5 tablespoons of chili powder, and the 3/4 can of pumpkin puree. GOod stuff. My husband liked it and he doesn't normally like chili. Will make instead of my 'normal chili from now on. THANK YOU!!!

Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
This was grainy and tasted of sugar granules. Not peanut buttery enough. Follow the other people's advice and cut down the marshmallow in 1/2 or add more PB.

Yummy Taco Salad Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
I have made this for years and people absolutely love it. As for leaving out the avocados...no can do! That makes it yummier. My family's version adds 1/4 cup of Mayo to the Sour cream mix...it gives it a nice tangy flavor!! Diced black olives make this extra yummy too.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
THis was really good! I bought sliced pork and put all this in a crockpot and let it cook on low for 4 hours. I made gravy out of the sauce it was in. When cooking this in a crockpot, I would use only 1.5 pounds. You need to double the recipe if using more than 1.5 pounds of sliced pork. I would also add some water to make the sauce go further, and I added some Brown Sugar for a sweeter taste.
