Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Had a difficult time getting all of the chocolate to melt into the mixture. I ended up leaving some of the chips unmelted because the mixture was beginning to separate. It set, but did not have a nice smooth top as I'd hoped for. It did turn out tasty and I couldn't find any remnants of the chips when I cut into it.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reduced temperature to 350, and pre-soaked raisins. Came out very tasty. Will definitely be using this recipe again.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Awesome cole slaw recipe! I was so proud of myself after having made it. Who knew that cole slaw was so easy to make?! I did cut back a bit on the sugar as other reviewers suggested - I used 1/3c. and I also added just a couple drops more of the vinegar for extra tanginess and omitted the poppy seeds. I also used light Miracle Whip. I was concerned if the light would make a big difference, and it didn't. Will definitely be making this recipe again!

Classic Spanish Sangria

Really great recipe. Made it just as the recipe says with the minor substitution on sweet wine instead of dry. Used plain Bacardi rum and lemons, limes, and oranges. I mixed up the rum, fruit, and sugar the night before and added the wine a couple of hours before serving. The only issue I had was in trying to get the sugar dissolve. Awesome recipe, though. Will be making again.

Southern Peach Cobbler

Pretty good recipe. I used a recipe and a half for the topping, and still could have used a bit more to get as much as I wanted. I also added about 3x as much cinnamon as called for. I think next time I will use a wider, more shallow pan as opposed to the 2 qt. dish as called for. All in all, though, it's a pretty tasty recipe!

Cheesecake Supreme

Amazing recipe. I doubled the ingredients for the crust so that I could have it all the way up the edges of the pan. And as many others have stated, it takes much longer than an hour to cook. I think I had mine in for around 3 1/2 hours and then left it to cool in an off oven for about another hour. Very dense and rich and unbelievably tasty. Will definitely be making this recipe again!

Basic Pasta

This was my first attempt at making fresh pasta, and it was surprisingly easy! I made some delicious ricotta raviolies out of this!! YUM! The only thing that I wish were different about it would be that it need not be so stiff. It was a little difficult to roll out, but totally worth it!! Thanks!

Deep Dish Brownies

These brownies were terrific!!! Don't be fooled though!! When these brownies come out of the oven, they look kind of cakey and dry, but cut them up, and they are moist, chewy and very chocolatey.... delicious!!! I also added a real thin layer of chocolate fudge frosting right when they came out of the oven which just made them even better!!!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

This recipe was a big hit with my family!! I'm just learning how to cook, (I was never really interested as a child!!) and this was fairly easy. This dough makes a wonderful crispy crust, and stays very crispy all the way through!! Just make sure that you have plenty of time, patience (especially when it comes time for clean up!! the flour get's everywhere!!), and energy and energy when making this dough especially for beginning cookers!!

Sugar Free Cake

This was a really terrific cake! I made it for my grandfather who is a diabetic. It was a wonderful addition to my Thanksgiving Dinner! Two suggestions I have are: 1. 1 hour is actually a little too long to cook it. Although some ovens may vary. 2. This cake comes out a beautiful spongy brown color, and if you like, you could put the tiniest sprinkle of powdered sugar on top... BEAUTIFUL!!! This is a wonderful recipe!
