Beef and Mushroom Stroganoff, Aussie Style

Wow. Made it exactly as the recipe states and wow. It was delicious. My picky kids faught over the last spoonfulls. they licked their plates. I will be making this again. The curry flavor is great and makes the dish as wonderful as it is. Don't omit unless you really don't like curry.

Homesteader Cornbread

Pretty good! It's the perfect cross between homestyle southern cornbread and restaurant cornbread. I followed the recipe exactly except I heated the oil in the pan before filling and the bottom crust came out tastly. My cornmeal was course, and I may use less course cornmeal next time. Overall this is a pretty easy recipe that tastes great... not dry at all!

Grenadian Spice Cake

This cake is AMAZING. It's just perfect. I didn't have any allspice or limes. I used lemon zest instead. The outside is crispy and the inside is supermoist. I think 90 min was too long. Nextime I will bake tor 75 or 80 min.

World's Best Lasagna

This lasagna is good. It's a little too salty. I would listent to the others and cut the salt. Otherwise great recipe. It takes some work though.

Mushroom Orzo

This is the third time I made this recipe. This time I changed it up a bit. I added grilled chicken, shrimp and extra mushrooms. I doubled the liquid ( chicken broth, water and wine). It was really good. We had it as a main dish. January 18, 2010- Writing again just to say that I still use this recipe regularly. I even use it with a good short grain rice and it's delicious.
