Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
I made these today in my toaster oven! It gets too hot to use the oven this time of year and I baked them at 400 in my toaster oven; it seemed to take twice the time but they were wonderful! I used butter instead of oil and they were great!

Kentucky Butter Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I made this exactly as recipe indicates with the exception that I did not use the glaze. I used it as the cake part of Boston Creame Pie. It was wonderful. My only suggestion is that it was much better the next day when it had time to rest and soak in all flavor. The next day the full flavor and moistness came through. This is an excellent recipe! I will keep this forever!

This was a fantastic recipe, especially for kids! If you love corn dogs, you will love this casserole. I only changed: amount of milk ot 1/2 cup, omitted sage and used Hebrew National dogs! WONDEFUL! If the 16 year old loves it that says it is great!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! All Mom's should try this recipe!

Chewy Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
I am a cookie fanatic and LOVED this recipe! I have filed this in one of the best recipes I have. I did find it too sweet, so next time I will cut back the brown sugar to 1 cup and see how that works. I used lots of walnuts and milk chocolate, ½ oil and ½ real butter and YUM! I added ¼ teaspoon of instant coffee and they are so rich they didn’t need the coffee but it was good! LOVED this recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
INCREDIBLE! I loved this bread! I live in Colorado and baking in the mountains is a blessed way of life! This bread was a pleasure to bake! This bread is THE BEST! I did make some changes.. I only made one loaf, therefore the following changes were for 1/2 of the recipe. I used butter instead of oil, added 1/2 cup of buttermilk, and increased the flour 1/4 cup. I used the topping as others suggested and added oats to it. I cut the flour in half and ie. it called for 1/2 cup of flour and I only used 1/4 and added 1/2 cup of oats. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I will pass this recipe on!!!!!! Thanks!
