Champagne Shrimp and Pasta

This is really good. I made per the directions, with the exception of adding a little garlic when I sauteed the mushrooms, and sprinkled a little Old Bay on the shrimp when I added them to the skillet. I don't believe either of these changes improves the outcome. I served it over thin whole wheat spaghetti for dinner, and then took the leftover shrimp and sauce, over quinoa, for lunch the next day. Will make again for sure.

Apricot-Glazed Pork Chops

This was really good. I used bone in pork chops that were pretty thick, and they took much longer than called for to reach the desired temperature, but even after cooking in the sauce for a while, they were very tender. I doctored my sauce up to taste (the sauce was good to begin with, but I thought we'd like it better with curry power and crushed red pepper...also a little low sodium soy sauce). I love to try new recipes but I'll make this again. Served with pecan rice.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

This recipe is a big hit with my family! I followed the directions except used half spicy and half mild sausage (so I didn't add the red pepper), and used 1/2 cream and 1/2 half and half. I made this last night and this morning, my husband and I are fighting over the leftovers. Thanks for a great recipe!

Really good! Even my picky 17 year old liked it. I did cut the BBQ sauce in half, and will probably decrease it a little more next time. Just personal preference...this is a great recipe! Thanks for sharing.

Penne with Shrimp

This is a great recipe. Yes, it might be a little bland as written, but some people like that. If you like your meals more seasoned, it is super easy to just season to take to create the flavor you want. I used fire roasted tomatoes, lots of garlic, and Italian seasoning paste. I also sauteed the shrimp separately, after rubbing them with a blend of minced garlic, paprika and italian seasoning. I served the shrimp on top of the pasta and sauce, and topped with parmesan. One of the best and easiest meals I've made in a while. Great base recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Curried Quinoa

I very rarely rate/review receipes but just had to review this one. I found this receipe a while back but never made it as it seemed too simple or basic. Wrong! The flavor of this dish is amazing and it will be a great base for seafood, chicken, beans or veggies. I just made it to take for lunch this week with some chopped up rotisserie chicken, but can't stop eating it. I think I'm going to have to make another batch for lunch. I did take reviewers' suggestions and decreased chili (because its not my favorite flavor) and added garam masala (one of my favorite spices)...however, I am sure the receipe as written is perfect as well.

CARNATION® Scrambled Eggs

I've never been able to make scrambled eggs, but had to come up with breakfast on the fly yesterday (for my father in law, who is the king of scrambled eggs, no less). Followed this recipe to a T (except I melted some butter in the pan before adding the eggs), and they turned out perfect. My F-I-L says I will be making the eggs from now on.

Spicy Chicken and Sweet Potato Stew

This is an excellent recipe. I cooked my chicken in the crockpot with a can of rotel before adding the other ingredients. This might have made the final dish spicer, but I think it would be really good without pre-cooking with rote. My husband loves this dish and has asked me to make it once a week during the fall and winter. Definitely a keeper.
