About this Cook
I'm still pretty new to cooking, but I love to do it!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking ANYTHING, and cooking some of my mom's old recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of my mom's dishes are great, I really like them all.
My cooking triumphs
I love my mom's zucchini's more like a quiche, but you can modify the recipe to suit any type of occasion.
My cooking tragedies
It seems like the presentation of the things I cook always ends in disaster. Always tastes great, always looks horrible.

French Toast Casserole
Very good and super easy! Took out of the oven, covered with syrup and powdered sugar

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
My family loved this recipe and I am PICKY! The only thing I did differently is that I used Great Value brand white corn and black bean salsa! It was amazing. The only thing I would do differently is that since my salsa is only available in mild (from what I've seen) so I would use a packet of HOT chili seasoning, because I prefer a little more kick to my chili. Thank you for the recipe! We will use again and again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX
we loved it! The only changes I would suggest is to make sure you use a DEEP DISH pie crust, and to put veggies in, then pour sauce on top (there is always too much). The crust got a perfect golden brown about half way through, so we covered it with foil until it finished cooking. I recommend not cooking the chicken with veggies first, because the chicken pieces didn't stay together. Just for reference, 1/2c celery is close to 3 stalks. Thanks for great recipe!
