Grilled Salmon Kyoto

Excellent. Didn't have green onions or ginger, and used fresh orange juice, not concentrate and then broiled the salmon, occasionally basting with the thickened sauce. My daughter (who doesn't eat anything that doesn't start with a "Mc") just loved it! So this recipe will be a repeat in our house, for sure.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Fantastic. Hubby kept commenting on how perfect it was with every bite! I ate much more in one sitting that I wouldn't have believed before! I was just bummed that we didn't have any horseradish, lol. This is my number one roasting recipe from now on!

Thighs on Rice

Wonderful! I followed another reviewers suggestion and cooked with parboiled brown rice. Sprinkled lots of lemon pepper and parsley on top before putting in the oven. Hubby was the first to try it and raved over how good it tasted. When I finally got around to eating dinner, I was very pleased with how it turned out. Even my niece and her new boyfriend, who were visiting, complimented me on this dish!

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Wow. This was so much more amazing than I thought it would be! The only reason I cooked this was because I had all the ingredients on hand (except heavy cream; just used half and half). It was a breeze to cook and even though hubby was late for dinner, I just couldn't wait anymore and dove right in! When he finally came home, he had two full servings and packed the leftovers for lunch the next day! He couldn't stop raving about this dish and wanted to give it 10 stars, lol! Thanks for this recipe. It rocks!

Easy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

I usually prefer my hummus to be more grainy, and I'd never had it with roasted red peppers before, but I was in the mood for something different. Well, I'm glad that this was the recipe I picked! It was very good with home-baked pita chips. I only had Realemon juice on hand, so I cut down on the listed amount and it was fine. For sure something I would make for a party.

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

It was okay. Hubby and I ate them, but the kids didn't like them at all. The glaze/sauce was good but I should have doubled it, I think. I don't think I'll made this recipe again.

Lemon Chicken Dijon

Well, it was tender and edible. Made this dish exactly as the recipe says, and it smelled good while cooking, but otherwise, we found it very bland. The meat had no taste, even though it was tender and juicy. I'll not be making this again.

Grilled Lemon Chicken

This was good! Because I had everything on hand, it was so easy to make. I was surprised that the chicken retained the marinade flavour, despite being marinated for only 1/2 an hour. (I actually put the marinade and chicken in a large ziploc bag and flipped it after 15 minutes). Was awesome served with roasted asparagus and rotini pasta with butter.

Salmon in Lemon-Dill Sauce

My husband and I thought that this was VERY sour and borderline bitter. And I didn't even use all of the 5 tablespoons lemon juice! We were just glad that we didn't have white wine vinegar to add to the sour taste of the sauce. Disappointing.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

This was okay. I'm not a fan of meatloaf but I did eat my portion of it. We thought we had steak sauce but when we discovered that we didn't, we used barbeque sauce instead. I think making it with steak sauce next time will be an improvement. However, 2 eggs are way too much! The meatloaf came out too moist, so next time we'll just use 1 egg. Overall, it was good.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

This was just an awesome recipe! Used some ground pork along with the beef, Italian cheese mix, and didn't use the onion, but everything else I followed to a T. The lasagna was so yummy that even my fussy 6 year old asked for seconds! She never even finishes any of the store bought lasagna we've purchased before so from now on, this is our lasagna. Thanks Bob!

Grilled Pork Tenderloin

I do NOT like tenderloin. However, I had the task of cooking one for dinner last night. So I used this recipe as a basis and it totally rocked! Followed the reviewer who used the broiler method and it was super perfect. I guess the reason why I was never fond of pork tenderloin was just the method hubby used for cooking it!

Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip

This was amazing! Since this was for a party, I doubled the recipe, only leaving out the extra 1/4 cup mayonnaise. The guests just raved about it and we couldn't stop eating it! Fantastic served with pitas cut into little triangles as well as nacho/tortilla chips. One guest commented that it would also be great with leeks, which I might try next time, just to be adventurous.

Baked Orange Roughy Italian-Style

This wasn't anything special. It was extremely salty. The cheeses themselves contained enough salt so I don't think that adding more is prudent. I probably won't make again.

Simple Country Ribs

Awesome recipe! Terrific for when you don't have 8 hours to marinate the ribs. Threw in a whole bunch of garlic cloves instead of using onions and put the ribs in the oven at 375 while reducing the sauce at high heat and frequently basting the ribs with. The ribs turned out saucy, tender, and so tasty! Was perfect with steamed mini new potatoes and mixed vegetables. Even my four year old asked for more!

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Wonderful recipe! So easy to throw together for such a delicious side dish! I've made it twice so far and will definitely be cooking this regularly (especially now that asparagus is in season!) Fantastic with grilled sirloin steak and steamed mini new potatoes.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

This was the most *awesome* recipe ever! I made it to bring to a family get together, and everyone demanded that I send them the recipe. Even though we had a reservation at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, we still gorged ourselves with tortilla chips and this dip/sauce! Didn't have any tomatillo salsa, so I chopped up some marinated jalapenos, which gave it just the right "bite". So fabulous...I can't wait to make it again and try it over some white fish fillets (ie orange roughy, tilapia) or with pita triangles.
