Savory Diet Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
Great idea but lacked a lot of flavor even after adding Tastefully simple garlic pepper and TS seasoning salt. I will absolutely make again but I think I will add some fresh garlic cloves along with more seasonings. I really liked how everything cooked in one pan to prefection, chicken and veggies were just perfect in 85 mins! I plan on turning the leftovers into a stew of some sort for dinner tonight:)

Country Chicken Supper

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2011
Very yummy! and easy but took a lil longer then expected but still very easy to make. I only changed just a few things. First I cooked the potatoes with the chicken onion mixture and added lots of Tastefully Simple garlic garlic and season salt. Then omitted the carrots and used chicken broth instead of water and topped it with shredded swiss and mozzarella. It was far better then I had expected!! great healthy stick to your ribs kinda dinner:)

Tenia's Chilled Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
This was very good! What drew me to the recipe was the dressing...it's just like a dressing my grandma makes except we use worcester sauce in it but other then that it's the same! so I knew I'd love it and I did! I did however use some extra veggies...tomatoes, blk olives and vidalia onion instead of green onion. very good and different then the regular old italian dressing...thanks for sharing!!

Black Bean Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
wonderful! I love black beans and am always throwing them in different things so when I saw this I was eager to try it and I was not let down! I will for sure be trying it with fresh salsa next time. I threw in some fresh tomatoes that I needed to use up and oleft out the green peppers and onion because the salsa I had was quite chunky with them already. over all it was a great and healthy recipe! thanks!

Taco Potato Shells

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
These were kinda time consuming but AMAZING! I used turkey burger instead to lower fat and also used olive oil with garlic salt to coat the shells. I made my own taco seasoning and used tomato's with green chili's as well. It was a total hit with the hubs! great invention and it gave me an idea of other things to fill the shells with! oh and I made it with black bean pasta salad from this site...they went very well together:)

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
delish!! I made this for thanksgiving dinner and everyone said this is what you will be bringing every year! and I'm making it today for our family Christmas party. This recipe is also the one on the back of the Knorr's veggie soup packet. I made it exactly the same as directed except no green onions and I didn't miss them at all!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
VERY good! I did however leave out the mushrooms (I know it's kinda a staple with stroganoff but hubby hates them) It did get kinda think tho...I would next time lower the amount of flour. over all very tasty! I had made a roast the night noght before and had lots of leftovers so I used the meat from that. It was very good!

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
I usually love ANY kind of homemade mac and cheese but this was just ok. It was WAY too cheesey for my family. I actually didn't even use all the cheese sauce either. I put the noodles in a big bowl and started adding the cheese sauce and I'm glad I stopped putting all of it in cause it was just way too much! I did leave out the mustard for lack of not having any and maybe thats why we thought it was lacking in flavor. I guess a good base recipe but I'll stick with my original recipe

Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
My hubby loved this! I only liked it but I'm also not a huge stuffing fan. I only tweaked this a bit. I cooked my chicken for a bit 1st...just in olive oil with garlic salt and pepper. I think it gave it a lil more flavor and helped it cook faster. I also cooked it for about 15 mins without the cheese then added it the last 10. It made the stuffing less soggy. It was VERY easy and very fast. Not many ingredients either and very cheap per serving!

Slow Cooker Pizza

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
sooo good! only made a few alterations. 1st I used turkey burger cooked with onions. Also I made my own pizza sauce because I didn't have any. Just used tomato sauce with garlic, italian seasonings, and s&p. and I skipped the tomato soup. Also I didn't use nearly as much peperoni's or cheese and it was still plenty cheesey and meaty. I will definitely be adding this to my monthly rotation!! Thanks for the great recipe!!

Mexican Raviolis

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
I'm not sure if I did something wrong but the raviolis fell apart when I was boiling them. The mixture tasted good but didn't stay together. Next time I will either bake them or cook them in a pan. I also made a marinara sauce but I made it more mexican. I added chili's, mexican stewed tomatoes, black beans, corn, cumin and garlic and that was very good!
