About this Cook
I am a young lady with a (large!) passion for cooking. And eating. And watching movies while I cook and eat.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook homemade pizza, chocolate cobbler, French Silk Pie, Greek-Style Chicken Salad, etc, etc.
My cooking triumphs
My greatest cooking triumph was probably the time that I cooked two new recipes for dinner, and they both turned out fine!
My cooking tragedies
Once, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, some girl that looked a lot like me forgot to put flour in her chocolate-chip cookies. ;)

Mulligatawny Soup I
SO GOOD! I did make several tweaks to the recipe to make it more to my taste. I replaced the butter with olive and the rice with quinoa (turned out fantastic). I cut the heavy cream out completely and the product was still very thick and not at all runny. I didn't miss it at all. As others have said, I do think you need to double the recipe if you want leftovers (you will want leftovers! This stuff gets much better as time goes on!). Also, I didn't like the texture of the cooked apple so I grated it instead (1 apple gave around 1/4 c). I also added 1 tsp of sugar at the very end to give it a bit of a sweeter taste. Marvelous!

Kettle Corn
WOW! My Dad and I are kettle korn fanatics, and THIS stuff is phenomenal! The sugar makes a hard-ish casing around the popped corn creating a delightfully crisp crunch when eating! I followed everyone else's advice and followed the "three kernel rule" as well as the "three second rule" regarding shaking the pot. I've never had it to burn or brown when using these methods!

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken
Amazing! I followed some suggestions and cut the amount of butter in half (at least) and doubled the amount of sauce. I also used pre-cooked bacon (it tasted great!). Highly recommended! Thank you very much for such a good recipe!
