BBQ Chicken Calzones

These were pretty good, but something was a little off to me. Maybe it was the combination of cilantro and bbq sauce. Maybe I didn't use the right bbq sauce. We all enjoyed it, but I am not sure if it was enough to make it again. Thanks.

Quick and Easy Clam Chowder

Excellent chowder. I made a couple of changes. I used fat free half-and-half and per another reviewer's suggestion, I used a couple tablespoons of corn starch and a small can of evaporated skim milk in place of the heavy cream to try to lighten up a little. I also added two chopped potatoes and two teaspoons of dried dill weed (just a personal preference). It was very yummy and my family really liked it too.

Carmel's Crunchy Pea Salad

This salad is good. I took it to a 4th of July party and a couple of people said they liked it, but I had plenty left over. It is not very good left over. I would say that I might make it again.

Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

Mrs. Sigg knows her cookies. I have also made her snickerdoodles which are awesome! These are great! I also added about 1/2 cup more peanut butter. I think I will cut that back next time. After they cooled they were a little on the dry side. I will definitely make again.

Simple Salmon Chowder II

Excellent chowder! I made with 1 1/2 c. fat free half and half, on another reviewer's suggestion and to reduce the fat. I used turkey bacon too to cut the fat a bit. I also used about 1 1/2 teaspoons of dill, since I like dill a lot. Very tasty and easy the leftovers re-warm well too.

Strawberry and Feta Salad

This was a very good salad!! We grilled chicken that I had marinated in additional balsamic vinegar for a main dish salad.Great for a weeknight Spring meal...just add bread and you're set. Definitely will make again. Thanks for sharing

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

I made this last night and took it to a church supper. People practically licked the dish clean. It is really good and pretty. Very easy too. I didn't use quite as much glaze. I used 1 pound of strawberries and the package of glaze I had was 14 oz. which seemed to be plenty for the amount of strawberries I had. I will definitely keep this recipe and make it again. Thanks!

Rainbow Salad

First, this salad is very pretty and tasted good. The only thing I changed was is I substituted peach because I couldn't find the orange pineapple. I took this salad/dessert to church with me for a dinner. I had about a half a dish leftover. It was very popular with the kids, but the adults went for something else. For the effort it takes, I am not sure I would make this again, except for a children's event. Thanks for sharing.

It's Chili by George!!

I made this as a "dry run" before making it for church supper for 60 people. We loved the flavor. I, too, added tomatoes. I think the next time I make this I will back off the chili powder just a bit. I think it's a little on the spicy side, especially for kids, but I think adults will love it. Overall it's a great recipe!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Excellent! I would definitely line my dish with foil next time as it made kind of mess that required soaking. This was really tasty. I happen to have breasts instead of thighs but it was still very moist and flavorful. Will definitely make again. Thanks.

Chocolate Cherry Biscotti

This was wonderful but I had a trouble with it not gettin done. I think my oven temp is off. Anyway, other than it being a bit crumbly it was really good. It got gobbled up when I took it to our family Christmas gatherings.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

This was excellent. Was making for the first time for a church potluck, so I didn't want it to be too spicy. I use two cans of chilis, 1/4 tsp. cayenne and omitted the jalepeos and it was perfect! I added sour cream as a garnish and that made it good too.

This was good. I used dried basil, because I didn't have fresh and I will definitely use fresh next time. I also used fat free half and half to try to try to make healthier and I don't think I will do that again. Otherwise, we really enjoyed.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

I made this for our Thanksgiving. I don't roast turkeys very often. I thought I would try something new this year instead of using an oven bag. This recipe was terrific! The bird was very moist and flavorful! It also made my house smell so good while cooking. Thanks!
