Venice High School Cherry Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
A hidden treasure on allrecipes!! The basic recipe is divine. For my own liking I added two jars of chopped maraschino cherries and pink coloring gel, rolled them into balls and into rainbow sprinkles, then flattened them slightly by hand. Left the nuts out. They are the perfect cookie for all occasions. Love, love, love this recipe!!!

Hash Brown Casserole II

You will definetely feel a little more comfortable after eating this casserole. I used cream of mushroom soup instead. All the picky meat and potato guys in my family loved this.

This is our go to recipe for cut out sugar cookies! Great taste, easy to work with. I have used this recipe to make a base for a fruit pizza. My kids love it and they love helping make and decorate the cookies as well. Superstar Recipe!

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
Great brittle recipe! I have made several variations with nuts and it always is delicious (I have also added coconut and dried cranberries, super good!). Fast, easy, but very hot so watch your hands. I did have to make time adjustments because of a higher power micro but it is simply divine and a keeper!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
If you are feeling like indulging on the "comfy" side for a bit this soup is delish! I used vegetable broth instead and brocolli baby florets (two frozen bags). Also added some sharp cheddar.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
This is awesome cole slaw. I made it the first time exact and it was too sweet as others have said. I usually see recipes that others think are too sweet and I think they are fine but this was just a little too much. I used the 1/2 meas. cup and just didn't fill it all the way, just guessed how much to leave out on the sugar. Other than that perfect. I also added small pieces of pineapple, grapes and golden raisins, if you like fruity slaw this one is good to make additions.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies II

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2006
This recipe is absolutely fabulous!! The only thing that was wrong, is that the instructions did not tell when to add the peanut butter, not that it was hard to figure out but I did all the wet ingredients and I was like, what about the peanut butter??!! But so delicious, great consistency, loved using the muffin tin, they look like little mini tarts!
