Brownie Mix in a Jar II
I just made two pans of these brownies - one as written, the other with the changes that most reviewers made (1 cup melted butter, 1 tsp vanilla, and 3 eggs) and I must say that I prefer them the way the recipe is written - one cup of butter seems to be too much to me. One thing I did do when assembling the jars was to put the pecans into a small resealable plastic bag before putting them into the jars - this way those who do not care for nuts in their brownies (and I have found that many don't) can exclude them if they wish.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars
Delicious! I found these bars to have a wonderful cheesecake flavor despite what other reviewers have said. I used a yellow cake mix but other than that followed the recipe as written. My co-worker's loved them - they were gone fast!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies
A wonderfully unique cookie! The consistency reminds me of Snackwell's Devilsfood cookies. I bought them to work today and they were gone fast! I didn't change a thing with the recipe - great as is. I did somehow end up with 52 cookies out of the batch (used a cookie dough scooper (looks like an ice cream scooper)) - but more of a good thing is, well, a good thing! :-)
