About this Cook
Homemaker, married to a great man, who is also a fantatic cook. We have a 3 month old daughter, born Jan. 18, 2008.
My favorite things to cook
Absolutely love chicken and fish. Not a a big fan of red meat, but I still cook it for my family. Love to try new recipies and make my own tweaks. Also like to cook Chinese, Italian, and crock pot meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
*Everyone* sits down at the table and eats. No Exceptions. :D
My cooking triumphs
Making my grandmother's potato salad. No one else seems to be able to do it *exactly* like she did. Invented my own Grilled Pineapple Porkchops recipie.
My cooking tragedies
...I ruined toast. That takes talent.

Finnish Pulla
Wow. I just finished this (and I mean JUST; it's cooling now), and I had to take time out to write a review. THIS IS AMAZING. Best bread I've had, best recipe I've tried from this site. I wish I could give 10 stars. I don't know if there will be any left to take to my family dinner tonight! :)

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili
This was great. I left out a few of the spicer ingredient so my two year old would eat it, and it turned out fine. First time I've made or had turkey chili, and it's definitely a recipe I'll keep.

Cream Cheese and Crab Sushi Rolls
I made this exactly as said and it turn out great. Even my mother, who has told me over and over that she can't stand crab, absolutely loved it. I made it two days in a row because she came back for more.
