Ham 'n' Cheese Potato Bake

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
I make this all the time for brunches and everyone loves it! Wouldn't change a thing. Sometimes I do omit the onion, but when I keep it I don't use very much (i don't want it to be overpowering). Is tasty with Canadian bacon or hickory smoked bacon instead of ham in a pinch!

Strawberry, Spinach, and Pear Salad

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
loved this! I made it exactly to recipe, and it turned out wonderfully. It was such a hit! I did do a few things slightly different: I didn't use quite as much dressing (not even 1/2 cup total), and I used canned half pears in water. I served it with Rosemary Roasted Pork Tenderloin.

Rosemary Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
This was wonderful! Moist, flavorful, delicious! I made this according to the recipe except I didn't add the onion. I also was only able to get two 1.5 lb loins (instead of three 1lb), so I increased the cooking time by 10-15 mins and it was perfect. Highly recommend!!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

This dip tastes like hot mayo. I used the real stuff and real cream cheese, which i never do. Not spicy at all, either. Overall I'm really disappointed.

Simple But Awesome Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
Would have given it 5 stars but mine was a little dry. I used boneless chops. Next time I will brown on both sides first in olive oil and garlic. I used 1 tablespoon total of butter (with 2 chops) and 2T of Worcestershire sauce on top of each. My husband loved it (his was thicker, i think it stayed jucier). Will definitely make this again. Very easy

Pork Chops with Delicious Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
Well, this was ok. The chops themselves were juicy, but the flavor wasn't very strong - it's probably because the "gravy" basically solidified in the pan. Once I noticed, I added a touch more milk and mixed it in. I ate the gravy (kept it on the side) and the flavor was wonderful! I couldn't believe it. I'm not sure what I did wrong. If I try this again I will probably double the sauce. If you try it,at least taste it and see what you think.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
tasted great - the sauce was great on rice pilaf. Didn't cook for the whole time: baked for 20 mins, added sauce, baked for 20 more. didn't have milk, but it didn't matter

E-Z Marinated Swordfish

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
This recipe was great! I literally just finished eating and thought I would write my praises on here :) I would have liked a little more kick, so next time I will double the hot pepper - and maybe try some garlic like another reviewer did. I also didn't have any thyme or parsley, but it was still fine without them. Had it with Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil couscous. DELISH!

Buffalo Chicken Wings II

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This recipe was a great start! I had never made buffalo wings, and my fiance RAVED and practically ate them all. I did make a few changes like others had suggested: -I mixed flour and bread crumbs -I tripled the amount of hot sauce, and added an extra 3/4 tablespoon or so (by eye). Next time I might add a bit of BW for stickiness and sweetness. -I cooked at 450 (20 mins each side) One suggestion - buy the wings cut up. Cutting them up was tough and took up a lot of time. That's my fault though. This is going in my box of printed recipes :)

Garlic Chicken

SO good, very flavorful. I cooked for 30 mins, and I probably could have done it for a little less. Great with Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil couscous! Easy to make too, perfect for the middle of the week.

Abby's Chicken Rollatini

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
This was AMAZING!!! Such good flavor, and so easy to do! We will definitely be having this once a week. I used less butter (1/4 tsp of I Can't Believe it's Not Butter Light!) and it still turned out fine. Having fresh parm. cheese was a great idea - we shredded it ourselves. Also, the mozz. cheese didn't burn, or leak out too much - I think buying the slices is really key. We served it with onion potatoes, and it was fantastic.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2006
This recipe was perfect!! I was so nervous making this for my boyfriend's Italian family, but they loved it! Could have used more sauce like people said, but I don't like really runny lasagna. I didn't use the meat, but I don't think I would use the amount listed - prob just 1/2 a pound. Finally, 30 mins was the perfect cooking time! I cooked it uncovered for 30 mins and even though the top got a little brown, it was definitely cooked all the way through. I will cook covered for 25 mins and then uncovered for 10 next time. Perfection!!
