Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
This is sooo easy and good its crazy! You'll almost always have the ingredients in your pantry. I did substitute one can of broth for cream of chicken, but I like this kind of soup creamy. Thanks for the great recipe - a keeper!

Slow-Cooked Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
I've made this twice now - both times to rave reviews. No substitutions the first time. The 2nd time, I didn't have hash browns so I used O'Brien potatoes. Came out great. Thanks for a great, easy recipe!

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
This was so easy....I usually make stroganoff from the Joy of Cooking, which is twice the work. This went over well with the kids. Only change was I cut down on the cream cheese and added a touch more sour cream to taste. Great, easy recipe. Thanks!

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
These are dangerous! I mixed shredded cheddar in with the cream cheese and I baked these in the oven (425) for about 25 minutes. Yum. Could've eaten all of them myself. Will be making these again!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I was really excited to try this, after reading great reviews. This was good, but a little disappointing. Very juicy, but not a whole lot of flavor. But, I will make it again. Easy and good.

Wake-Up Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
This is a great recipe - and easy to adjust to your family's tastes. We added chorizo instead of ham and it was tasty. Five stars!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
I'm not sure where I went wrong, but this didn't turn out well for us. It may have been that I used zesty italian and that made it taste "off." I don't think I'll try this again however, even with the regular dressing. I didn't like the consistency or flavor.

Super Duper Easy Apple Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
This was easy and delicious! I did have a problem with the consistency, but that's more a high altitude issue than the recipe. So good it's almost gone and I made it today!

Butterscotch Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
I have never had bread pudding before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. WOW! This was an easy delicious recipe. I cut the sugar to 1 1/2 cups as per other posters. Was perfect! Thanks for a great new dessert.

Chicken Enchiladas V

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2008
Made exactly as directed and it turned out great. I think should've made more "sauce" though. Great taste and easy - my kind of recipe.

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but I liked the ingredient list and the ease of putting this together. I did have to make a couple of adjustments - I didn't have 2 full bottles of sauce and the can of pinapple I bought was larger than called for. But this was easy and really good. Served over egg noodles. Picky husband gave it a thumbs up!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
This turned out great! I took the advice of other posters and added the green peppers about 1/2 hour before serving. I did substitute diced tomatoes with green peppers and onions in place of stewed and served it over brown basamti rice - perfect!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
This was the first recipe I ever made from AR. This is top notch - my family always requests it and goes back for more. It does make a large pan, but it's just as great leftover. Thanks for an awesome recipe that's easy too.

Company Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
Another keeper! I had to substitute cream of mushroom for the cream of celery, but I'd imagine it would be just as tasty either way. Texture was great. I added diced ham that I had leftover in the freezer and it had a nice flavor. No issues here - thanks for a great recipe!

WOW! Yumm-y! I took another poster's advice and used the Dole orange-pineapple-banana juice and it was perfect. What a great way to enjoy a summer evening.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
WOW! This got rave reviews from both the kids and my husband. I agree with the other posters that the BBQ sauce you use will matter. This recipe gets 5 stars not just for being delicious (which it is!) but for how easy it is to make. A must keep and will make again!

Chicken Teriyaki - It's a Secret

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
Wow - this was great! I marinated it all day and it was tender and juicy off the grill. Was a bit salty, so I'll use low sodium soy sauce next time. But a great, easy recipe! Thanks!

Easy Roasted Pork

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
I really enjoyed not only making, but eating this roast! It was easy to prepare and had a great flavor. My only problem was that mine came out slightly overcooked, even with checking the temp. I always forget things cook faster at high altitude. Great recipe!
