Still trying to learn healthy, quick family meals and getting better at it all the time. Not afraid to try new things and mostly my family loves my cooking. Almost anything in the crockpot. Plus, I love baking. Just don't get to do it that often with 3 busy kids! My mom always made great keugel (sp?) and some other Jewish dishes. But since she was always cooking for a large crew (I'm one of 7 kids), mostly it was inexpensive, easy stuff. Made a wonderful grilled beef tenderloin when I hosted a company party a few years back. My guests could not believe the party wasn't catered! I also cooked for my mom's 75th birthday party - shredded pork BBQ with my own homemade sauce (another favorite!).
