Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Great recipe. Needed a little salt. Spices are well blended. If you're looking for a recipe that is loaded with flavor but not spicy, this is it. My picky 12 y/o daughter even loved it!!!

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

A spicy but earthy taste. Next time I will cut the pepper in half. A bit to hot for the kids. Excellent dish! Served it with Zatarains black beans and rice but added a quarter cup of powdered cheddar cheese. If no powedered cheddar available, shredded cheddar will do too.l A total cajun meal!

Bacon Tomato Chowder

My husband and I LOVED this soup! I added a little extra bacon and onion, and served it in bread bowl made from onion kaiser rolls. I will not only make this again for my family, but plan to serve it at a dinner pary. Thanks!!!

Chocolate Covered Blueberries

These were incredible! I also used butterscoth, white chocolate and milk chocolate. All were yummy! It is important to make sure your blueberries are fresh.

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

Great recipe. Not quite salty enough for me. I added a package of onion soup mix and substituted 1/3 of the tomaotes with spicy v-8 juice. It was wonderful. My husband loved it. Will make again and again.

Japanese Fruit Pie

Easy, to make. Nice change from traditional pies. The vinegar gives it a little something extra. A family favorie. I had to make some for Christmas presents upon request.

Coconut Shrimp I

FANTASTIC! This is just the right amount of cocnut flavor. The batter was perfect. Chilling it before frying made a big difference. Comes out a beautiful golden brown. Very impressive for guests or just yummy for the family. The suggested dipping sauce was also 5 stars! This one will stay in my recipe book!

Maple Pralines

Flavor is wonderful, but very sticky. Not a praline, more a maple carmel. I wrapped mine in parchment paper and served them as caramel candies. My family loved them and never knew they were supposed to be pralines.

Fresh Corn and Tomato Casserole

A nice change from every day vegetables. Very easy to make. A little to buttery for me. Next time I will cut the butter in half, or maybe try olive oil. Will make againg for sure!
