Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2006
I made these cookies today for a church bake sale and I think they came out very good. My children taste tested them and all 3 said YUM. I did add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup more oatmeal then the recipe called for b/c it seemed too soft but otherwise very good!!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
I had to leave a review b/c it made the VERY BEST banana bread!! I did make some changes, took others advice and cut sugar to 2 1/2 c sugar, used white/whole wheat blend flour, wheat bran and wheat germ to make the 4 1/2 c flour then added 1 tsp baking powder since some had said it was alittle too dense/didn't seem to cook all the way through. It came out perfect and sooo delicious. The recipe made 5 smaller loaves and 12 muffins.

Cocoa Rum Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
I doubled the recipe and used captian morgan spiced rum. I thought they were very yummy esp. a few days later but my husband thought they were alittle too strong....I guess it could just be preference but maybe I would use alittle less rum than called for next time. My friends that like rum said they were delicious and I thought so too!

Christmas Eclair Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
This was very yummy but very messy!! I didn't like the circle thing with the glass bowl in the middle. maybe next time I will try a 13 x 9 pan. I took this to my inlaws for dessert and although it was very tasty it didn't look the best. Would try again.

Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
Very good will make these again!! I did make a few changes, used 1/2 tsp almond extract, 4 oz of cherry yogurt instead of applesauce, and chopped frozen cherries. When using frozen berries of any sort I always dust them with alittle flour and sugar before adding to the batter. Next time I might add some chopped pecans too. My kids loved them and I love the fact they have over 4 gms of fiber per muffin!!
