Rosemary Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
These were absolutely yummy! They were a nice change of pace from the cheesy scalloped potatoes we usually have. These potatoes were creamy and loaded with flavor! I used the fat free half and half and was thrilled with the results! I also did as another reviewer suggested and steeped the rosemary in the sauce mixture. This added a pleasant rosemary flavor to the dish without overpowering it. So delicious!

Fresh Cherry Crisp

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
Wow! This cherry crisp is fabulous and easy to make! I made this recipe as directed for the most part. The only change I made was that I omitted the shortening. The topping was perfect without the shortening. My family gobbled it up and asked for more! What a great way to use fresh sour pie cherries!

Cranberry Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
This bread is fabulous! The contrast of the tart cranberry and sweet bread is a great combination! I made three mini loaves with this recipe. I found that if the bread sits for a couple of days, then the flavors blend and you have less contrast between the tart and the sweet. It slices great and looks very pretty and festive. I will be making this again!

Gone to Heaven Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
This recipe is always on my Thanksgiving menu and everyone loves it! It is rich, creamy, silky smooth, and looks luscious. The only change I make is that I always use milk chocolate chips instead the dark chocolate chips (I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate). If you like chocolate pie, you will adore this recipe!

Chocolate Oat Snack Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
This cake is simple, delicious, and looks pretty! My son is allergic to walnuts, so I left them out, but the cake was very moist and tasty. I've even used this recipe with egg substitute and light butter and it turns out just wonderful!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2006
This is a wonderful recipe! The bread is so moist and delicious! My very picky kids love it! I followed the recipe as directed EXCEPT I left out the cinnamon. The whole family devoured it. This is another great way to use up all those zucchini!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2006
This bread is so good! No one would ever guess it has zucchini in it! I followed the recipe as directed EXCEPT I added 2 teaspoons of pure lemon extract and left out the cinnamon. Everyone raved about it. Thanks for a great recipe! I will be making this again!
