Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2013
Wow!! I had never made an apple pie before so I searched for one that had not only good reviews but seemed simple to make. This was amazing! I loved how the sauce gave the crust a glaze which made it not so dry and flaky. We ended up making this two days in a row! YUMMY!!! Thanks Grandma Ople!

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
Loved it! I've had a hard time finding a recipe for meatloaf that I like but this is it. I didn't really alter the main ingredients very much but I added 1/3 cup of uncooked instant rice and used only 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. I also topped it off with a ketchup & brownsugar mixture. We've made this twice in the past 3 weeks. Everyone loved it.

Pumpkin Cheesecake in a Gingersnap Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
This was my first attempt at making a cheesecake and it turned out amazing! I was surprised that it did because I made a couple of adjustments (but only because I had to). First of all, I only had 3/4 cup of brown sugar (after the 3 tbsp for the crust). I added about 2 tbsp of white sugar to it. Then I realized I only had 3 eggs left instead of 4. It still turned out perfect. I didn't even have any problems with it setting properly. It set wonderfully, didn't crack or sag in the middle.

Roast Beef and Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
We just had this recipe for our "Easter Dinner". It was fabulous. Everyone loved it. At first I was a little worried that the mushroom soup would make it taste like a typical mushroom soup recipe (the ones where you just dump mushroom soup over almost anything) but it was amamazing. No one even knew that there was mushroom soup in it. I added an onion sliced and about a cup of sliced mushrooms to it. I also made it in the oven on about 300 degrees for about 4 hours instead of the slow cooker. I couldn't believe how tender it was. Will definately make it again and again and again..........

Chicken MacRanch Salad

Great recipe. I have made a variation of this recipe for years. The only thing I do different is add some seasoning salt. Sometimes I even add bacon pieces to it.

Chicken Veggie Soup I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2006
Recipe was a bit bland. I added 1/2 cup of chopped chicken (leftovers) seasoned with a dash or two of seasoned salt and it definately was a good, quick and easy soup.

Pepperoni Cheese Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2006
I liked this recepie. It was something different from the usual cheese balls. However, I formed it into one cheese log rather than small cheese balls.

Apple Crisp III

Great recipe. Very easy to make. I substituted the water for orange juice because of an old recipe I used to use. It gave it a little bit more kick.
