Best Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
Absolutely delicious! The key for sure is to not let it cook too long. My recommendation is to leave a little bit of brownie on the toothpick (as long as it's not actual raw brownie). It will finish cooking in the pan while it's cooling. If you live at sea level, make sure you drop your temperature to 325 degrees and bake about 33-35 minutes. Turns out exceptional! They are NOT hard or chewy or even cakey if cooked right. Key word..cooked RIGHT. Pay attention to your altitude. I put the frosting on as soon as I pulled the brownies out of the oven. Perfect!

Pina Colada Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2012
Super easy and no eggs! Especially for those who don't like meringue, like me. The coconut flavored cool-whip is a fun twist. Sprinkle on toasted coconut and nuts if desired. Really good with a dark rich coffee. Mmmmm.
