These muffins are good, I make them frequently. They can be a little on the sweet side and I have yet to get them crunchy on top

Pumpkin-Apple Muffins with Streusel Topping

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This muffin recipie came in handy when i had left over pumkin from Thanksgiving's pumpkin roll. I was a lil nevous as to the thickness of the batter so i added a splash of milk to get the mixture moving. I added pecans to the topping and when done the topping was sweet and crunchy! A definate kid pleaser aswell.I loved the pumpki and apple together

Easy Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2006
I'm not big on apple crisp, but this dessert hit the spot.I followed others and reduced the br sugar. I did not have white cake mix so i used what i had which was a golden butter mix. I used pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon and i added some sweetened almonds. The texture was great. I will make this again

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
Let me just say, follow the directions very carefully in this recipie. I also want to add that this is a very interesting way to blend all the ingredients. When the bread is finished it has a shiny, crispy, sweet, and crunchy top. The center's texture is right and not overly sweet.I will make this w/ Thanksgiving dinner.

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
This recipie Was the BOMB!Very easy,i used parchment paper to roll it as well. The longer it sits in the fridge, the better tasting this roll, becomes. My daughter helped me make it couple of times this fall.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
My reason 4 making this recipie is because i usually don't like "dumplings".I followed the advice of others on adding veggies and stock or broth for more flavor.. I think the flavor of the soup is very good. The dumplings were 2 mushy 4 me,but my husband and others aid they were alright.my 2 yr old ate the whole thing while my 7 yr old didn't like much about it.

Snickerdoodles III

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
i was lookin 4 a different snickerdoole recipie, i read the reviews and noticed the 5 stars, but i wasn't exactly 100% happy. the texture was very dense and the cooki itself wouldn't have been sweet enough without the rool of sugar&cinn. this was not the recipie4 me,although the kids ate them fine. i probably won't make these again

Sorta Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2006
this recipie was very good! it deserves 5 stars only u season the meat prior 2 flouring.i had no stock so i used 2 1/2 bullion cubes/2cwater.i don't prefer mushrooms so i layered w/gpepper, onion, minced garlic & parley. at the end i didn't wisk in the flour because the gravy was thick enough 4 me.i don't own a dutch oven or a iron skillet so i wrapped lots of foil around the handle of my non stick pan.

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2006
when i made this recipie, i made muffins instead of the bread so it would appeal better 2 the kids. i used walnuts in the cinn/sugar mixture. the muffins cooked in @30mins. i customized it to make 10, it made 14. the cinn. flavor gave them the upper hand, i liked the creamy texture as well.i followed the other suggestons and layered most of the mixture inside the muffins. i served w/butter and everyone devoured them. i will make these again.
