The consistency is good, as is the color, but even using Hunts tomatoes (as was rec'd), cumin, and chili powder, it was still too tomato tasting for my taste. It needs something more ... lots more. I ended up adding balsamic vinegar, a lot of cumin and chili powder, some onion powder, garlic powder, and a couple of chilies in adobo sauce before getting it to taste like anything other than "just tomatoes". I'm not sure what the rave reviews are all about. Without all the doctoring I did, this was plain.
