Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi
I made this last night, and it was the best mahi mahi I've ever had. Used 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, versus chopped garlic (because I don't care for bits of garlic in my food), and after marinating baked the fish on nonstick foil in the oven at 425 for 20 minutes. It came out perfect. Flaky. Moist. Sweet and savory all at once. Served it with a side of veggies for a low carb, healthy meal. Loved it. Will make again!

D's Famous Salsa
The consistency is good, as is the color, but even using Hunts tomatoes (as was rec'd), cumin, and chili powder, it was still too tomato tasting for my taste. It needs something more ... lots more. I ended up adding balsamic vinegar, a lot of cumin and chili powder, some onion powder, garlic powder, and a couple of chilies in adobo sauce before getting it to taste like anything other than "just tomatoes". I'm not sure what the rave reviews are all about. Without all the doctoring I did, this was plain.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
These weren't all they were described to be. They were soft, but lacked color and crisp edges. I usually make the Tollhouse recipe, and the cookies come out perfectly. With this one though, they didn't compare. Stick with Tollhouse.
