Bran Flakes Muffins with Raisins

Thanks you! I had some special K with strawberries that I was getting a bit tired of. I used this recipe with some changes others recommended, 1/2 the salt, added cinammon, added raisins. They are delicious. If you like a really sweet muffin this is not it. I do not, and this was perfect for me. I put cream cheese frosting on for my husband and for someone who doesn't like muffins....he asked for another one!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Incredible! and thank you. I love, love, love this site. All my other sites are deleted. These were wonderful. Had my grandkids over yesterday for "making cookies" day and these rolled, cut, and cooked beautifully. Saved some today for me to decorate (kids had more icing than cookie, and they took their's home) and they still rolled beautifully! I will never make a different sugar cookie. Happy holidays to everyone.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

I tried! Had some sour cream almost out of date so looking for a recipe for something easy, found this. Sorry, it was very dense for some reason. Did it in an 8x8 pan (there are 2 of us) and it really got dark around the edges before the center was done. It does taste great! Just not moist and fluffy like we love in a coffee cake.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Thank you!!! My Mom used to make this for us as kids (I am a grandmother now), but I never wrote down a recipe. Every other recipe never included the brown sugar and yours did. My son asked for this, he remembered it as a child going to my Mom's house for dinner. It was delicious and he loved it. Said" this is it Mom!"

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Well! you did it. You got my sweet husband to love blueberries. I made this cake for our son's birthday dinner (I knew they liked b'berries) and it was a huge hit! Thank you. PS I only had 4 oz cream cheese so just added a bit of water. and only powdered sugar sprinking. I have to add, Ihad a picture with my son and his wife with this cake I wish I had submitted. I have made this 4 times since and everyone wants more and more and more.

Cream Wafers

What a joy! I have used this recipe since 1965 every Christmas. It is my youngest daughters favorite (and she is a Mom now), it would not be Christmas at home without them! But!! I can not find the BC 1965 Cookie book I have had for over 40 years. Did a search on allrecipes and here it is. Thank you, Thank you

Brown Sugar Pound Cake I

I made this yesterday. It was delicious!!!! Next time I will not add pecans for a change. Or 1/2 called for. I used it for a strawberry shortcake base and we loved it. No changes to it except I did cut it down for 8 servings and put in a loaf pan and had to cook it too long to get it done inside and too brown on the outside. Will use less batter in loaf pan. But that was my problem. Thanks for a delicious, easy dessert cake.

Butter Icing for Cookies

I am sorry but this did not work for me 3 hours before our family Christmas Eve party. It was thick, and did not stick to the cookies. Then the sprinkles did not stay on. I may try again and use less sugar, more liquid. It does set up and tastes great.
