I'm married to my high school sweet heart August of 1999 and we have four kids...3 boys and 1 girl. I have grown up exposed to my mom's amazing cooking...but I didn't start really cooking until I was married. I loved coming home to the smell of something baking in the oven and want to do the same for my kids...and maybe they'll do the same for their kids!! Anything that offers a challenge or trying something I haven't cooked before! My parents took Thai cooking classes before us kids (there are 5 of us) were born and so we grew up eating authentic Thai food and now, my sister and I love cooking our favorites along with new dishes. Taking a dish that tastes ordinary and adding things that make it taste extraordinary! Overcooking things when I'm pregnant...it's that fetal brain drain!!!
