Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These are my go-to recipe for chocolate chips. I've used them quite a few times now and my fella absolutely loves them! Very soft cookies, and I didn't change anything in the recipe except I chill my dough before baking. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

I have used this recipe quite a few times now and it never fails me. Though I must say it's quite a big batch, I always forget to half it and it takes me a while to use all of the dough up. I also never use cinnamon, but either way it's great. Tasty!

Carrot Cake III

I halved the recipe and made cupcakes, it turned out to 12 cupcakes. It was quick and easy to make, though I found that it was too much oil. Even after baking there was a little extra oil on the bottom of the cupcakes, so I think next time I'll take others suggestions and use some apple sauce instead of some of the oil. The icing was awesome though, really tasty. Overall a really tasty cake recipe, will make again :)

Butter Tarts

Great tarts, and very simple! I didn't have raisins and I'm allergic to nuts, so they were plain (but that's how I like them best anyways). Overall, really tasty and super quick to make. My fella loved these, said they were perfect. Would definitely make these again.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Great (large) recipe, and easy to make. My first time making pumpkin bread and it turned out just fine. I made the recipe into one loaf and two dozen muffins. I omitted the walnuts, as I'm allergic and used some chocolate chips and some raisins in my muffins. I also substituted half the oil for applesauce as other have suggested. Will definitely use this one again!

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

Wow. That's all I have to say. I've been struggling for a while now to get the right shortbread recipe and this one...blew me away. Amazing! Just like the perfect shortbread you would buy at a good bakery. Will definitely be using this one again. The only minor thing I changed was to add just a touch of vanilla extract, otherwise everything was left as is. Yum!

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

I had never made a pumpkin pie before, so this was new to me. I finally cooked and pureed my home grown pumpkins and immediately had to make a pie. The only thing I changed was not adding the full can of milk, as it just seemed like it would be far too liquid, and I'm glad I did. I made the pie for a family dinner and everyone seemed to enjoy it a lot :) Thanks for the great recipe, I'll be using this one again!

Scottish Shortbread IV

These. Cookies. Are. Amazing!!! Like others I just whipped the out of the butter and sugar, then added the flour. No kneading at all. I added just a touch of vanilla as a personal preference and rolled these out with powdered sugar. So, so yummy! These are as good, if not better, than the bakery shortbread cookies. This will definitely go into my regularly used recipe box! A must try, you wont be disappointed.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I have to say this is the first ever cookie recipe I did that turned out perfect! I'm a horrid cook/baker and these were so easy and great tasting! If I can make them work well, anyone can! Great recipe!!!! Update (06/12): I'm still using this recipe and it's one of my favorites to date :) These work for all occasions and always come out perfectly. This is the only sugar cookie recipe I use now, and will continue to keep using. Thanks again for the great recipe!
