Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
Very good!! Made this for a dinner party and everyone loved the pork! Be careful not to overcook unless you make extra marinade to baste with while grilling.

Like another reviewer said...what a GREAT basic recipe that you can alter many ways to satisfy your tastes. I have already made it a couple times..with and without the eggs. It was great either way!

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
This was a very good and easy recipe. The chicken didn't have to cook very long to have a great flavor...mine cooked too long and came apart when trying to remove it from the pot. I added some quartered potatoes and whole baby carrots..I also quartered an onion and put it in the cavity of the chicken like another reviewer suggested. It was a great meal 2 nights in a row!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
Very easy and delicious! I used potatoes on the bottom, like another review suggested, added quartered onion, seasonings, and about a 1/2 cup of broth on the bottom...my chicken was frozen solid, so I cooked 8 hrs. on low, then added baby carrots in the last 2 hrs. cooking...the husband used the leftovers for sandwiches the next day ;)

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2007
Very good...I added bread crumbs like another reviewer and it made the topping crispy. Great recipe for those who do not like the "taste" of fish...

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2007
Very good and easy to make...I added red pepper flakes to spice it up and used already cooked shrimp that I just threw in at the last minute to save time.

Easy Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
Easy, simple, and always a crowd pleaser....I toyed w/ using beer as half of the liquid to moisten the stuffing and gave the mix a nice flavor...will try a dark, robust beer next time and might add some mushrooms.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
Easy and a great time saver! Used fat free or reduced fat and skim milk to reduce fat and calories...used the "onion/chive" cream cheese and omitted the onion powder as suggested by most reviews... I also left the skins on the potatoes for the extra vitamin boost...was delicious!!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
Very good and easy to make. A very good variation from the traditional. I would use the italian cut beans or regular cut next time because the french cut are too delicate and get to mushed up in the mixing. I also used fat free and cut out the butter on the top to reduce the fat and calories...it was still very good and rich tasting.

Curried Sweet Potatoes with Golden Raisins

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This was awesome! My husband loved it and he does not care for curry dishes....the only change I would make is mashing the sweet potatoes, then adding raisens. I would have also left just a little bit of the juice from the can to add a bit of moisture to the mix.

Green Grog

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This drink was good, but too sweet. If I make again I would use diet soda, diet concentrate, and possible half the sherbert or leave it out entirely because it left a "foam" on top of the bowl that was not appealing. I would also use a 1 ltr. bottle of rum instead of the 750 ml.
