Autumn Squash Casserole

Awesome! Hand-sliced apples were a little too thick, so next time I will use the mandoline to get thin slices, then cut them in half. Family LOVED it, and it will be added to the holiday recipe list.

Enchiladas Suizas

Spectacular chicken enchiladas! Made as directed, and the only thing we didn't care for was the green olives--the olives totally overpowered the mild flavors of the enchiladas. When we went back for seconds, nobody had the olives. When we make it again, and we will, there will be black olives instead.

Fantastic recipe! Spectacular breakfast that the kids and I made for Mom on Mother's Day! It tastes just like a raspberry cream-cheese King Cake. Will DEFINITELY make again!

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Spectacular flavor! The most wonderful home-made CFS we've ever had! Added garlic powder to the flour instead of adding minced garlic to milk. Important to let the first dip of flour sit for 15 minutes before dipping in egg and flour. 4 cups of milk is too much; gravy was thin. Used 1/2 cup seasoned flour and 1/2 cup of used oil and consistency was perfect. Definite keeper!

Berry Rhubarb Pie

This was our family's first taste of rhubarb--it's hard to find in the Gulf South--but this will DEFINTELY not be our last. Spectacular flavor! Not too tart or too sweet, and goes great with a scoop of vanilla on top.
